On pull day what movements are you doing ? Because then you only got a 2 sleeps before you do dead’s…are you going to be able to recover from this particularly if you load your lower back on pull day ?

Still implementing fortitude then? I’m assuming when recovery starts to take a nosedive and food is reduced further, this will be taken out with just standard straight sets? Maybe a couple of RP sets and/or clusters?

Cardio is sounding brutal at the mo if it requires naps haha. How do you pass the time? I use music and then break my time down into increments/percentages left. Also, try to break it up with different machines, especially the longer sessions – usually elliptical or stairmaster to start, then finish with intervals on the rower. In a weird sort of way I do enjoy cardio, especially in the morning as it lets you collect your thoughts for the day ahead. How’s the NEAT activity looking currently? Worst bit of cardio is iron leg syndrome, literally every step feels a ton haha.

Hello Sam, thank you for checking in and for your compliments . I am starting to get excited myself seeing the changes. Do you follow me on insta ? Have you been watching the training videos. They are brutal.

It’s not fortitude, as that is a set structure. I’ve been following pivotal rep system which is more auto regulated.

I have a combo of tren, test,GH & mast, so recovery hasn’t taken a dip yet….once it does I’ll probably go back to baseline volume, but to be honest I don’t see that happening anytime soon as I’m napping a lot too, early nights, Epsom salt baths, dry needling, massage & over dosing on halcyon. So taking all steps to protect recovery.

Cardio is strictly stairmaster for 40 minutes so that’s brutal …it’s the last 19 minutes that kills me.. but I find music playlists the night before on mix cloud or fit radio & that seems to carry me through.

I also don’t do cardio on leg days because leg training is the priority.

I’m not on Insta my man – don’t own a Smartphone for a start so it’s lost on me. Do check on it now and then though without a login. Your technique and intensity are on point, hence the physique that you’re unveiling.

Ah sorry, meant PRS not fortitude. I’m three weeks out, give me a break ???? haha. If you can progress and recover from it, then definitely keep doing it. Just noticed that James tapered off from it as did Corinne near the end of their preps. Looking at the workout above, that won’t be anytime soon! Well done on the PR deadlift.

I’ve found that now I’ve pretty much got a consistent sleeping pattern and get up time, everything flows so much better. Wish I had the luxury of taking naps haha. Make sure to rest over the weekend where I can and curcumin is literally one of the best supplements ever in terms of recovery. You’re literally ticking every box.

40 mins on the stairmaster, ouch! Are you holding on or doing it hardcore no-handed? Very specific – the last 19 minutes haha. I was doing cardio on leg days, but I train at 6:30 in the morning and was doing cardio around 6pm so a nice break between the two.

Ah ok…no smart phone= less stress to be honest. Lol ..
As I approach the show if recovery demands rocket, I will listen to the body & go back down to baseline volume. But for now I’ll eek everything that’s there to eek.
Glad you are sleeping well as that’s a key component during prep that’ll determine recovery and how lean you get.
    I am 96kg , I operate on level 12, & hold on .lol

This was a very interesting topic. It’s defo one to have in the tool box circumstances dependent.
Speaking for myself, I feel I can still push the envelope training to failure whilst auto regulating my sessions from one to the other & paying close attention to internal feedback.
When I hit the muscle building ceiling some day, or my circumstances suit then that’s defo a root to go down .

Hello guys, so 6 weeks out yesterday. I am so fired up …performance has not dipped yet and if anything Strentgh is holding.
Very productive session this afternoon. I Took an all time PB on RDL’s today with 240kg for 5 reps. So was chuffed about that.
Also I made steps forward with high rep work on the pendulum widow maker taking 80kg for 22 reps.
It’s all good being strong on the 5-9 range, but I also aim to be strong on the 15-20 range.

    Session was

    BB RDL 1×5-9,1×10-12

    •Chin ups 1×5-9,1×12+RP+F+ISO

    •Unilateral seated row : 1 set 12 reps (3 part) rest pause

    •pendulum 1×25

    •standing ham curl :1 set 5-9 , 1 set 10-12

•adductor:1 set 15 reps (3 part) rest pause

Video on my insta young_4040 ????

Clare has covered this topic in depth , but too add to it from a supplementation stance I’d introduce a combo of curcumin, and boswelia work wonders. Jp has got one out on his new range cure-cumin & is mix that with boswelia as that’s been known to boost the effectiveness of circumin & therefore reduce inflammation quick

Evening guys very good session today at frontline fit performance centre…
Jordan and corinne were about & that motivated me a lot.. Jordan also had a look at me & he’s feedback was positive, so that lifted my mood a lot given my weight has been fluctuating a lot.
It was delts and tris , and as always there’s a sick pump with this session.
Strength was up across the whole session so I’m really buzzing about that.
    Session was as follows

    •Smith machine shoulders press 5-9,9-12+PR+F+1

    •dips 5-9,9-12+PR+F+1

•single arm tricep press RP 12

    •cable tricep extension 1×12–15

    Stretch

    •Pec Dec : RP 12-7-6 (5 sec stretch)
    •lying cuff lateral RP 12-8-6

    •Seated machine lat raise 12-8-6
Also attached a pic here post workout .

Pics would help my man so as to differentiate whether it’s a pocket of fat and or loose skin.
If it’s a pocket of fat which or sounds like, as its tough for most to loose fat in the lower abdomen or it’s the last regions to respond then I’d just be patient and plug on.. one persons 10% is different to the next.
Some people will have visible blocky abs at 10%, some people need to diet to 5-6% to get the same look.
Fat distribution will vary from one individual to the other.
You can’t spot check but you can try topical creams like vasoburn maybe ?

Another day, another pull session in the bag. Top top session, simply because my cardio has gone up to 40 minutes from 30 minutes and that extra 10 minutes absolutely killed me off.
I was flagging by 8:30am and had to sleep for an hour to recharge.
Pre workout meal in I proceeded to the gym, PREPARE in i attacked that session with so much ferocity.
When it gets to this time of prep my focus is very sharp & I literally don’t care what is going on around me. I can and prefer to train on my own , calling for a spot here and there.
I think tren makes me very cold and emotionally detached too, I always focus on the goal.
PB’s all around today ….I smell blood. Some pics taken post workout T bar row 5-9,9-12+PR+F+ISO

•Atlantis pull down with prime handle 5-9,9-12+PR+F+ISO

•single arm Atlantis iso pulldown 1 set of 12-15
