you always need carbs intra workout like Sas says and you have to remember this amount will vary in terms of what is needed depending on what you are training.
If you shoot 3-4iu pre workout – 30-40g carbs may cover you for a chest/shoulder workout but will likely not for legs.
always keep carbs in your gym bag just incase – liquid drink and glucose tabs.
If this is your first time using insulin I see no need to dose pre and post.
I would just pick one based on what you are trying to achieve both from the insulin, current goal and what time of day you train plus total food intake.
Ok cool. It’s tempting in that case to just go with the post solution and make it a bit easier. It will most likely bring the same results. 90% of the time I train around 0100 PM. Calories will be starting this push at 3500 calories and I will increase it from there. And ofc I will base my insulin intake based on the amount of food and not the other way around.
Goal is to add as much tissue as possible. 🙂 Originally I was also thinking of taking 1 iu per 20 grams of carbs of the following meal.

100 to 200 mgs is not uncommon at all.
Is it necessary though. That’s the question. I personally know an IFBB pro that has never used that much. And like I said, pharma quality- 25-50mgs garnished incredible results.
I think its awesome that we have a world class bodybuilder like Sas breaking every “rule” you see on IG and such showing us there are many ways to do things and its up to everyone to find out what works best for them. I do not see this as a problem at all.

Aye. Keep doing it. It only served you so well. Makes this log the most interesting on the site also. 👍

You’re all over the site asking questions that a little common sense and research would provide answers for. Clearly you have no business using compounds such as anadrol, tren, etc. You’re just another uneducated gym bro that thinks he’s going to magically be the next Mr O. All of your questions regarding anabolics, insulin and nutrition are absolutely retarded. You need someone to hold your hand and spoon feed you everything. Figure it out for yourself and find what works best. Isn’t that your argument? What works best for each individual? Experiment on yourself, and then come back to the forum and add useful information. Instead of riding on the backs of everyone else.
This is the last reply I am going to make to you because this is not a discussion section, but Sas log.
But the reason why I was asking is not to get educated on how to use Anadrol, I was merely interested in how Sas did things out of curiosity, because his methods are interesting to me. This log is about him, not me.
It’s quite obvious to me that based on how you behaved and disrespectful you have been, that you should not only be using any drug at all, based on your aggressiveness.

Right I see. Totally understand regarding that much performance fuel. What I would do is start with a smaller shot of insulin, maybe 3iu, have some sugars in your bag incase, anything could be haribo sweets and see how you get on.
If you feel fine, increase by 1iu next time… and so on. But always keep sugars in your bag. I sometimes take a squeeze bottle of honey or jam. Cheap fast sugars ti save me if I need / am experimenting with insulinOk. Thank you. Have a lovely evening.

You’re saying take 4-5iu pre and not have carbs till straight after training? Novo will be active and effective within 15 minutes. The carbs you had 45 minutes prior might be suffice. So you’re risk going hypo or at very least having a rubbish session.
I’d rather you save it till post workout. Then do a bigger shot with extra carbs. Much safer
Yes almost Sas. I would of course have like a 20-40 grams of Performance Fuel or Sustain during the workout, and having that with COR straight after training I was unsure would be enough without going hypo. My issue is that doing 80 grams of Performance Fuel every workout is kinda expensive for my budget so I like that you consider just taking the fast acting insulin post workout instead a solid alternative 🙂

Tor , prawns and veggies , then oats , banana and dark choc 🙂
Thanks. Asking for permission to eat prawns, veggies, but oats, banana and dark choc, but opposite order.
Just kidding! 😀

Hey Kuba, I have a few questions regarding nutrition and hope you could shed some light for me. For some context i’m moving into a gaining phase, 79kg and eating 3000 cals on TD.
1- Is adding some fats to the post workout meal (about 6g from avocado) a bad idea? Should i add it into the other meals instead?
2- When prioritizing carbs periworkout, how much is too much for the pre meal? Currently doing 100G COR + 20g iso + 100g berries + 12g nut butter, when my food gets bumped up next should I add it to the Pre/Post (both have about 100g carbs) or into my other meals (my 3 other meals range from 50-80 carbs rn)This is Kubas log. If you have questions not about his log or need help try his Q and A in the other section of the forum 🙂

Hey Kuba.
When you make a meal plan for yourself, what are the most important factors when you pick your food?
Do you go by nutritional value first, then how it digests, and then taste? Or is it based on taste first? For example lately you have used a lot of rice flakes and I wonder if this is just a personal preference or would you rather have COR for better taste , but rice digests better? 🙂

I’m with Michaela here as far as it’s impact on progress.
I would always be drawing for mps max as my first choice of intra.
Aye sir. I think if I want to get in this amount of carbs in intra because of taking slin preworkout I can do Performance Fuel and some MPSmax and then do a whey iso at the gym when workout is done.

150-200mgs of anadrol is absolutely ridiculous. That’s more than the pros I’ve heard of using. 25-50mgs of Pharma (Abdi Ibrahim) Anadrol produces AMAZING results. Less in more.
100 to 200 mgs is not uncommon at all.
-
I don’t necessarily think that’s needed or going to be a game changer for your progress.
Especially if you’re eating in a timely manner pre and postI personally just sustain and eaa currently
Thank you for your answer Michaela. Many options here. I just wanted to follow the diet planner to a tee for some reason because I like doing stuff for that for some reason. 🙂

When you used Anadrol did you start at 100-150 mgs a day or did you work your way up there from 50 or so? 🙂
I always start at 50 for sure. Then 100 for the most part but I have played with 150-200 quite often.
Thanks, and again if you may. Do you start low and work up with injectables as well?
So this depends on where I am in my season, if I’m pushing hard and ending a push to trt fast, then push again soon as possible, then I’ll probably jump back into high ish 600+ weekly and work upwards after trt, but normally / if I’m doing a longer trt like end of the season, I will start lower like 300-400 and work up slowly. Make sense ?
Yes that was very helpful 🙂

ye im on fixed food now , you cant grow efficiently without structure
60p/90c/30f oats/salmon
pre wo 30c 60p fruit/mps
intra 25c sustain
pwo 150c / 15f / 70p cream of rice /seeds/prawns
125c/20f/60p pasta/chicken/seeds
100c/20f/60p oats/dark choc/performance iso
Ok if you skip this if you do not feel like taking me through a cooking course, but what does Meal 1 look like? Oats with boiled water in a bowl, and then just salmon on a plate on the side? No veggies even? 🙂
(Trying to steal some ideas for my own meal plans)

Yes so hamstrings for me will be once a week. I like to stick to a medium – high rep range and drop sets on most sets.I do a standing hamstring curl, seated and lying 8 heavier reps followed by 12 lighter reps for 3/4 sets. That is all I do for hamstrings. Sometimes I will add a hamstring exercise onto a glute day or quad day during the week too.
Yesterdays session was great. Headed to Cojos for a quiet session, there is something about training in a private gym that makes it so much better. The ability to get on with your workout without being distrusted is amazing.
I was reunited with the smith machine and so spent the majority of my session using it. Started with heel elevated squats and then moved onto split squats. Finished off with hip press, leg extension, adductor and calves.
I assume you do hams on a separate day? How does a typical ham workout look like? 🙂

Thank you. Have a lovely weekend 🙂
