Hey Hilly, yer thats a good idea, i had thought about doing a test towards the end of my next course. Like you said you can see just how much it impacts your body. Some people will suffer side effects more than others. We are lucky to have all these facilities available to us now.

Paul, i think there is a place for slightly more volume at times, for instance Jordan had me do a 50rep drop set on leg press on leg days and drop sets on back days. Looking back pretry much all the goldenera guys lifted heavy but some like Arnold would train for long periods of time, Franco said he never responded to that type of training so Arnold would have multiple training partners to keep up. Ed Corney was one of his main training partners. Tom Platz also said he would see more results with a 4 day split over 6. Theres almost too much information out there today, i think the basics are being lost at points. instead of focusing on training like an animal people are more concerned with what drugs to take and how many supplements they can shove down their necks, and how many do you see anywhere near the shape of Arnold, Serge, franco etc. All they new was how to train hard and eat well whilst using very small amounts of gear. Robby Robinson recently put up a post about deca. When he started using it he would do a shot a week and many worried about the toxic effects of it lol. Now you have guys nowhere near his shape taking grams of this grams of that,.igf, insulin, GH etc. Obviously genetics plays the biggest role in this sport, i think some need to be realistic with their goals and not risk an early grave. I believe in following your dreams but from what I’ve seen in 16 yrs of bodybuilding more drugs to a certain extent doesn’t equal more results. The most anabolic thing you can do is train like your life depends on it and eat a good wholefood diet.

Hey @drdeanstmart, you think it’s high enough for that? i looked at my last blood results after 4 months off and they where within range so potentially they would go back the longer im off. I know American bbs give blood to reduce there’s, we’re not allowed in the UK unless off for 5 months i believe. Yes you are correct recently been fighting a cold.

Hey Sam, in terms of posing it definately changes throughout a prep. As you get leaner certain poses will look better when your conditioned whilst others may have faded. I practice alot throughout prep but offseason wise just hit a few shots here and there.

hey Adam, i did it fasted as i feel that will give more accurate readings. Yes i think it’s that and my strict diet. Check page 1 for my diet and supp list. my approach is maticulous day in day out. I think there okay aswell because my courses are what most cruise on ????.

Hey Corinne,
can’t believe a pro is on my forum ????. That was genuinely a one off, added some of my old exercises to some of Jordans, the 50 rep drop was from Jordan, love it lol. im trying to lift heavy still and my working sets are still at 2. However, my strength and recovery have decreased ????.
