Everything moving in the right direction at the moment. Weight up to 122.5kg, test moved up to 300mg last week so this will continue to move up. Did barbell press this evening for the 1st time in a long time and felt a warning pinch in my left pec. I never do barbell press for this reason and that will be my last ever one. With injuries over the years I need unilateral movements otherwise my injured side takes a hit. I’m happy to take the warning, ice and some massage therapy this week.

Unless you sweat alot or live in a hot country you don’t need salt on every meal. I never track salt unless in prep where I just count turns on the salt grinder then I know what I need to manipulate pre stage. If you enjoy tracking every single thing then go for it but it’s not necessary.

Has some real good sessions this week. Strength is creeping up each week. Test has moved up to 300mg this week so expecting to hit 121/122kg. Food around 4k but I’m not overly tracking it. Just eating alot and getting the sessions ticked off. The meticulous food tracking comes in prep so I never torture myself in a building phase. I know when I’m in a surplus and I just eat the foods I enjoy. Each to their own but I prefer and enjoy this approach. Tracking everything all day every day all year would turn me into rainman.

Every 4 to 5 hours is good. Depends on your goals, calorie intake etc. You won’t lose muscle from missing a meal here and there.

As Peter said. It’s not for everyone. I would only ever use small amounts close to a show. 50mg pre training for instance. For some the negative mental impact is too much so they avoid it. You certainly don’t need it to be a sucessful bodybuilder.

Shout out to Sasan for his 2nd place and incredible look at the detroit pro. Watching him from his 1st overall win at the ukbff 18years ago to now has been inspiring, I won the juniors but everyone was talking about a phenomenon in the heavies and he has not disappointed, now at the very top of the sport and one of my favourite physiques in bodybuilding.

Finding the route of anxiety may help under professional help. I honestly found training to be my saviour for all things mental health. I also recommend a non physical stimulating hobby like paining or scultping, music etc. I started warhammer and it helps me completely switch off and calms the noises in the head.

I taper up. Very little to start and push food hard. If I stall I will add a little more anabolics and so on. Max doses depend on the individual and blood work should be monitored throughout
