Offseason cardio was an approach I previously used but found overall recovery and body response much better since we have stopped meaning more tools to use in prep!
But obviously it can be very person dependent especially if you are pushing up weight and food, want to be that bit more cardio fit to help keep things moving x

Leg day is upon us today!!! I also had a check in today!! Weigh has bumped up slightly which normally messes with my head but from the actual check in video I am feeling much better!! As I always say if coach is happy then I’m happy!! Xx

I agree I think it’s a very biased one sided documentary! And again agree with Clare that meat is good, plant based is alright and eating both as a balanced diet is brill! Xx

So completed my first full rotation of training this week and recovery if anything has been so much better!! Don’t get me wrong I’m feeling it but I think the plan is spot on to maximise my recovery xx

Full circle of training DONE!! So today was my day 8 of my programme which consisted of a Leg/Pull session!! It involved deadlifts (my absolute favourite)
– wide pulldowns
– tbar row
– lying ham curl
– pendulum widomakers (oh lord these were savage!! Good but savage)
– seated leg press widowmakers
– adductors
– toe press calf raisesTomorrow is rest day for me and will spend it well and truly resting up ready to hit my push session on Sunday ????

What’s the reason behind the first meal having to be eaten within 30 mins of waking?
Is dark chocolate your personal preference instead of nuts?Hey Martin,
Okay so one reason is to help me keep on top of my meals in the day! This is more food than I have had previously so we have put in place a routine and timings to make sure I am getting everything in 🙂
So I have dark chocolate as a fat source over nuts simply because I have a nut allergy and dark chocolate has always been a source that I have used xx

1. Here is my current training split mapped out by Jordan:
Day 1 – pushDay 2 – legs
Day 3 – rest
Day 4 – pull
Day 5 – push
Day 6 – rest
Day 7 – leg / pull
Day 8 – rest
Repeat
2. My current diet can be found under the diet plan tab in my log!! Loving all the food at the moment and feeling really good for it!!
3. So my feedback all year from my pro shows and the Olympia has been to bring up my legs in which both myself and Jordan agree is the main plan of action!!

I agree with Jimmy, the term cheat meal makes it sound like it’s something really bad hehe!! I would also say something that isn’t going to trigger binging and also something that will digest well so you are left feeling groggy and sluggish xx
