Take them before high carb meals. Not necessarily needed post workout as you’ll already be insulin sensitive from the training. They’d only be useful here if carbs get super high in your post workout meal. There is some evidence that berberine could interfere post workout, but I don’t know how solid that is, however I avoid taking them here incase.

Liquid because I wan’t something that won’t make me feel it in my stomach while sleeping. For fats, I find I don’t agree with some sources but I will have to experiment with other sources then to see what I can handle.

A form of casein protein will be your best option with some fats. Typically Greek yogurt, whey and nut butter/dark chocolate. Noticed you prefer not to add fats, any particular reason for that as the combination of a slow released protein and fats to slow it further are ideal?
Also, couldn’t help but notice a 12 hour gap. Guessing sleep and a bit of fasting?I like to leave 2.5-3hrs between the meal and sleeping because any less and I will feel it coming out my throat when lying down haha. If I had casein, would no added fats be fine then?

Peak offseason 30 mins bike plus 8000 steps minimum bud depending on schedule
