I agree with the guys above. When dieting both carbs and fats will be decreased over time.
Usually you would keep your carbs the highest on your training days, especially the larger body parts that are more demanding and lower carbs on non training day. You may want to have lower fats on your training days when the carbs are higher and higher fats on non training days, as long as you are in a deficit, try what works for you and what you like and enjoy.

Nice little sleepover at my mums, me and neala staying again tonight! Trying to keep the dogs separate for as long as possible.
Today lots of client work done. Dog walks and glutes session today. Trained a little later than usual but nothing a nice coffee couldnโt sort out prior as I didnโt want to risk having a stim pre workout!

There are so many different ways that coaches peak their clients and some will agree that they give a better look and then some they done.
What I like to do with clients and what works the best is reducing output around 10-7 days out to starting dropping off inflammation and gradually increasing baseline.
Water intake higher with higher carb days, then a little pull back to baseline the day before stage and a slight reduction in water.
Sodium remains they same, potentially a slight pull back last few meals day before stage if needed.
Natural diuretics used midly if needed. It is very client dependent. You may need to get ready early and trial what what works for you.

Rest day for me today, rest crazy start to the day, arnie going mental trying to get to neala then the house flooded all water coming through the ceiling ๐ but we donโt stress, we just get crack on with things ๐
Been at a clients show today, it was a great day! This evening I had to bring neala to my mums for a sleep over to keep the dogs seperate!

This is extremely independent and based on the results needed.
Some main factors you need to consider is will it be affecting your training and recovery.Aim to do your cardio away from your training window if possible, and If cardio is over 40mins I would split it up into 2 sections, but some personally prefer to get it done in one go.

We have been on the Eval stand at the expo, I had my bloods done today too so looking forward to seeing what they are like atm!
We are just watching the boxing fight, then I will be staying at my parents as Bitch is in season and arnie is starting to try and hump her and get unsettled, not a good combination ๐

Hey guys!
Client work as usual this more before some Skype posing clients, then it was hams & glutes today!
Although I am due on my period any day and got a little bit of fatigue that a generally get a couple of days before I come on I still matched my lifts, so very happy with that as sometimes I take a reduction in load as everything can feel much heavier, but not today so very happy!
This afternoon I also had my lashes and nails done then did some work and food prepped ๐

Hey, set up looks good! Potentially I would look to do an isolation exercise before a press, but this is down to preference, so try your set up see how you get on and then you can look to adapt after a couple of weeks on the block

Client work done super early before most woke up so I could crack on ๐
A lovely day today at the seaside, went for some nice walks along the beach, the sun came out too!
The kiddies played on the beach for a few hours too then I set off in the afternoon as needed to get back to train. A longer day but once got into the session it was a good one, glutes for me today.
Scale weight dropping nicely, happy with the position we are in ๐

If you find that it is causing any cause for injury then I would removed, but if not crack on, take a little extra rest and get it done ๐
