No noticeable water retention for me neither, but I do avoid if in a competition prep just in case. Definitely a hot flush and a sicky feeling.

There’s a small % theory one is better than the other. I do actually prefer subq as it’s just nice and easy.

Client work first then, then upper, followed by a busy afternoon in the studio with posing clients. I am so glad I took an extra rest day yesterday, today I had such a good upper session! I love that feeling

Check in day today!
My left glute isn’t recovering as well, this is usually the case when I am ready for a rest or a deload.
Glute volume has been reduced back down to 3 working sets rather than 4, so pre & post COR reduced back down to 125g (from 150g).
Today I have had a long day on the road driving and a shoot for a heels and jewellery company. I really was out my comfort zone doing a shoot this large ?
Was a long busy drive home and then had Check ins to catch up on. Decided to take an extra rest day once I realised it was a full day thing and not a morning thing.
Will be super fresh for tomorrows session now though

I agree with both Clare and Marc here. Continue with the cut for another 6 weeks or so, to drop a little more body fat and allowing the body to become nice and responsive, ready for your next improvement phase.

Hey guys! Glutes for me today ?
First part of the session everything felt reallll heavy! Like top set weights felt like back off weights to start. Possibly ready for a deload / devolume sessions.
I can always tell when I am ready for a deload as my left glute feels sore and not fully recovered. My left glute is slightly less developed too, more than likely weaker explaining needing more time to recover.
We shall see what kuba says in check in on Monday. But everything will be noted on my check in sheet ready for then

Hey guys,
Work done early morning then an eyebrow appointment. Followed by an upper session.
Then this afternoon I had my hair done. Feeling like a new woman again. Much needed self care time. I always find when hitting the peak of my improvement season, I need things like this because being larger and holding more bf comes with a few negative feelings about yourself.
Now I have nice hair ready for leg day tomorrow

Hey Chris,
I would recommend eating your PWO a little sooner, as long as your HR has come back down. I usually eat around 30-45mins after I’ve finished training.
Unfortunately this is something we have to ‘suck it up’ and just ride the wave, (as long as you aren’t driving).

Your volume should be based on your ability to recover. As long as you enjoy your current set up and your recovery isn’t affected, there is a place for both lower and higher volume.
