    I agree with both Clare and Marc here. Continue with the cut for another 6 weeks or so, to drop a little more body fat and allowing the body to become nice and responsive, ready for your next improvement phase.

    Hey guys! Glutes for me today ?

    First part of the session everything felt reallll heavy! Like top set weights felt like back off weights to start. Possibly ready for a deload / devolume sessions.

    I can always tell when I am ready for a deload as my left glute feels sore and not fully recovered. My left glute is slightly less developed too, more than likely weaker explaining needing more time to recover.

    We shall see what kuba says in check in on Monday. But everything will be noted on my check in sheet ready for then 🙂

    Hey guys,

    Work done early morning then an eyebrow appointment. Followed by an upper session.

    Then this afternoon I had my hair done. Feeling like a new woman again. Much needed self care time. I always find when hitting the peak of my improvement season, I need things like this because being larger and holding more bf comes with a few negative feelings about yourself.

    Now I have nice hair ready for leg day tomorrow 🙂

    Hey Chris,

    I would recommend eating your PWO a little sooner, as long as your HR has come back down. I usually eat around 30-45mins after I’ve finished training.

    Unfortunately this is something we have to ‘suck it up’ and just ride the wave, (as long as you aren’t driving).

    I totally agree with hilly and rich here.

    Your volume should be based on your ability to recover. As long as you enjoy your current set up and your recovery isn’t affected, there is a place for both lower and higher volume.

    I would definitely be getting this checked out asap and get a rehabilitation programme in place, as like the others said, numbness is not a good sign.

    Hey guys, yesterday was upper, today was leg day.

    Nathan’s client was up to train with him, so his partner jumped in my leg session.

    Had a really good session! However I definitely feel a little more fatigued in general yesterday and today. I have no idea where / when my TOTM is anymore since the primo as it threw my menstrual cycle off. It could possibly be due to that, or generally coming up to needing a deload soon.

    Kuba wanted my sleep better this week, 7 hours minimum which I am making my priority. I blame Nathan for my nights less that 7 hours asking me to stay up with him until he finishes his last meal, then he can’t get up in a morning so it’s a viscous circle for him atm. The joys of pushing food ?

    Ready for a much needed rest day tomorrow!

    Hey guys, check in day today with kuba. We are in a much better spot with the start of prep only a few weeks away!

    The 3-4 20mins LISS sessions a week have now been pulled and 1 HIIIT session per week has been added in.

    No changes to food or training set up.

    I do still hold most of my body fat on my legs and glutes, but I’m not too worried about the cardio being pulled because I know I have the work ethic to do what needs to be done, and ensure I get the condition I need for stage. This year I am definitely much thicker and hold more muscle through the lower, which I am happy with!

    I agree with max, explain your symptoms and push for another test to be safe.

    Also some things to consider, what is your caffeine intake like? Are you under any additional stress? Have you taken on too much work load? These are all things to consider that can cause an increase in anxiety.

    Rest day for me today.

    It was our first stage coaching workshop of the year and what a great busy day it was! There’s nothing that can quite prepare you the same as show day rather than practicing on a stage with the pressure of an audience and a pretend judging panel! I wish we could do this on a weekly basis for myself!

    Really successful day! Then a long a spontaneous meal afterwards with some of the girls.

    Check in day tomorrow. Not long left of improvement season, excited for prep to start, but also not wishing my weeks away 🙂

    It is very common if you are drinking a lot to be needing to go to the toilet more regularly.

    If this is something you are worried about I would get things check out with your local GP to rule anything out.

    I love wearing my Nike metcons for leg day in particular, but recently I have also found the love for converse for leg day. As long as they are flat then they are great,

    Vibrams are great, but also if your gym is cold in the winter, then your toes also freeze 🙂

    A few things to also consider, do you feel stressed at all? Have any external stressors going on?
    Your eating environment such as, are you rushing about lots whilst eating?
