Hey guys!
Work this morning and then a laser appointment.
Leg day for me today. A lovely session, feeling good, injury free, and I actually feel like I have put on some quality tissue in the lower half. But we shall see when the BF comes off! ?

Rest day for me today.
Feeling good and my body is feeling well rested.
Check ins first thing, followed by admin bits, nail appointment, a nice dog walk with my friend and her pooch, then an evening of client new starter calls.
Busy day ahead tomorrow ๐

I agree with all the guys above here. It is very person dependent but with the wellness wellness criteria, they arenโt looking for muscle separation. So training closer to stage will keep the fullness here.
If training closer to stage, I would be mindful not to take your sets to failure, as much as you want to keep the legs full, you donโt want to accumulate any fatigue or inflammation that could affect your look on stage.

A friend from Scotland travel to join me at UF today, and it was lovely to catch ip with her. She actually turned pro at the Arnoldโs last year, and will be starting her prep for this season pretty soon.
I have also seen my sisters and baby nieces today, I love spending time with them so much!
Rest day tomorrow.

I agree with both Clare and Rich here. Ensure you are warming up and doing enough mobilisation before your training session too.

No noticeable water retention for me neither, but I do avoid if in a competition prep just in case. Definitely a hot flush and a sicky feeling.

Thereโs a small % theory one is better than the other. I do actually prefer subq as itโs just nice and easy.

Client work first then, then upper, followed by a busy afternoon in the studio with posing clients. I am so glad I took an extra rest day yesterday, today I had such a good upper session! I love that feeling ๐

Check in day today!
My left glute isnโt recovering as well, this is usually the case when I am ready for a rest or a deload.
Glute volume has been reduced back down to 3 working sets rather than 4, so pre & post COR reduced back down to 125g (from 150g).
Today I have had a long day on the road driving and a shoot for a heels and jewellery company. I really was out my comfort zone doing a shoot this large ?
Was a long busy drive home and then had Check ins to catch up on. Decided to take an extra rest day once I realised it was a full day thing and not a morning thing.
Will be super fresh for tomorrows session now though ๐

Keep tapering carbs up for a nice steady increase in weight. Train hard and keep enjoying the process ๐

I totally agree with hilly here. We would also need to know your daily output from steps, cardio & your job.
