    Hey guys!

    Happy Easter Friday! 🙂

    A morning of client work, some time spent with my niece this afternoon then this evening me and nath are going for a Turkish together for our last off plan meal before prep together!

    It’s very rare we do things just us two so I am looking forward to it!

    Then tomorrow morning we are setting off early to the tbjp cup and Sunday we are also going to another show!

    So a weekend full of bodybuilding shows ?

    Hi Dylan!

    What a great goal to have! Do you currently have a coach or someone to help guide you through the process?

    You looked great in your cut last year, I personally would do a little tidy up, pull calories back, increase output by adding in some cardio and reduce a little body fat to similar condition you reached last year.

    Then gradually start to increase your calories again and reduce output to start your growing phase.

    I also think a mock prep / photoshoot prep is a great way to see how your physique looks when in stage condition.

    Hey guys!
    Rest day for me, work this morning then a nail appointment, a facial appointment and then a hot pod yoga session with some old dancing friends, so a day full of self care. ?‍♀️

    The yoga made me realise how inflexible I am compared to what I was. So more flexibility will be added into my routines!

    Hi Farbod,

    It is great that you enjoy RDL’s but also we have to remember that our volume is dependent on what we can recover from, not just what we enjoy.

    Are you currently in a growing phase?

    If you increase to 2 working sets of RDL’s but are still going into your leg session sore and unable to progress, I would reduce your volume back down again.

    You could also alter your split slight and add an additional rest day in after push before your leg day. The extra rest day will allow for addition volume in your pull day and an addition day to recover before legs 🙂

    A morning of work then a day in Manchester with my sister consisting of brunch and then an afternoon watching beauty and the beast, out of all the shows I have watched this is my favourite!

    The train home was spent looking at shows we can go to next and I think we have picked moulin rouge! ??☺️

    Totally agree with Kiera here! It will be very person dependent! I also think the load lifted will 100% depend on whether the athlete wears a belt or not.

    Leg day for me today! It was my first time on the gymleco leg press, wow it was the hardest 100kg I’ve ever pressed in my life. Very nice piece of kit. ??

    Thankyou zander! What is your appetite like and recovery?
    I would continue to keep working hard in a growing phase. If appetite stalls then I would do a pull back, use the time to get leaner, add a little cardio in and get the body nice and responsive.
    But until then I would just keep getting nice and strong in the gym. 🙂

    Hi Tom,

    I am sorry to hear you have been having these side effects. I would 100% consult with your doctor about your concerns and relay these exact feelings and information you have about how the different dosages affect you.

    Like with any drug, certain drugs may not suit the individual, and there may be different side effects to each individual.

    I personally havn’t ever had the experience with SSRIS, but I know close friends that have. I also know that doctors turn straight to antidepressants rather than finding out the root cause, by discussing your lifestyle, stress, relationship, any potential chemicals that you are taking…

    Once you find out what the root cause may be, there are many natural remedies to treat anxiety that should be tried before even considering SSRIS.

    Hey guys!

    Check in day today!

    It’s official, prep will start a week today and I am so excited for it! ??

    I feel like a few things will be done differently this prep as kuba has been able to gather alot of data about how my body responds and what works for me in order for us to bring our best package to date.

    We know my stubborn areas are my legs, mainly hams & glutes, so we have mapped out plenty of time to get super lean and shredded before my first show date, then feed into the shows to be within the bikini criteria.

    I also know we are going to start the prep a little more aggressive than previous preps, which in turn will benefit me and ensure we are ready early.

    I am already starting the prep with a totally different body composition to previous preps with Kuba, so that is a huge positive already!

    Upper day today too, hams & glutes tomorrow and it will be my first time on the gymleco leg press 🙂

    I would add in tbjp dream sleep pre bed, halcyon either post workout or pre bed to aid with a good night sleep. If you suffer from any joint pain, osteo pro and then join in away from the training window.

    Add glutamine to aid with gut health, you could add to your morning veggie-might greens drink.

    Also I would add Vitamin C to your supplement stack. 🙂

    Hey guys!

    A lovely Sunday for me spent with nath, arnie & family having food.

    Trying to fit all my close friends and family in for a pre prep activities! ? Not that they can’t be done or enjoyed on prep, but it gets to a point where you definitely are not present in the moment with them.

    Check in day tomorrow and excited for a busy but great week!

    Only a few more weeks until prep, recovery is in a great place, no injuries and mentally in a great place to start prep.
