I would always prioritise carbs around the workout window, so would reduce from meals either side of here first.

There are certain periods during the day that carb ingestion would be more beneficial than others. E.g insulin sensitivity being highest upon wake and post workout. However, fat cells are equally as receptive during the a.m, where as PWO GLUT-4 encourage glycogen to be stored within the muscle cells, no fat.
So you’d probably be best to situate carbs peri-workout to maximise performance, then allow for a steady insulin secretion throughout the day.
better breakfast pre and post than in all meals?
