So we’ve just finished off at the 2bros show in Watford. Had one of the boys from our Gym competing in the morning and he took 3rd which was amazing to see & then the pro show was absolutely incredible to watch – I know my end goal and what I want but seeing that level of competitor really gets you fired up. Was great to see James take home 3rd too he’s hard working, humble and a real good role model for any young competitor he does it for his sheer love for competing so great to see him do so well.

Back home tonight & up in the morning for cardio with my little doggies ????

Due to having dodgy feet and knees I feel much better when doing leg press over squats- I still add in variants of squats within my lower sessions using belt squats and Smith squats as good for targeting the glutes

    Hi All,

Hope you’ve had a lovely day – so today I got up prepped everything for Watford then went on long walk with the doggos they were struggling though with it being super warm so got them home with lots of water and a cold towel on there back

Then I went to the gym and did a little bit of a light leg session felt good!
Now to make our way to 2bros for the comp tomorrow ❤️

    Hey!
So from my accident I had to get my left calf to catch up to my right. Which actually made it bigger than my right within a couple months. I feel unilateral work on lagging parts really helps to fire them maybe try some single leg calf work alongside the usual. I also hit this each lower body day so 2-3 times per week

Check in day and I’m down 1 kilo since my op – obviously no training this week just walking with the dogs to stay active. It hurts to flair my lat at the min so pics aren’t great but Kuba is still relatively happy

It’s a meal of your choice that is different to your current meals to replace one. I like to go for a carby meal ☺️

Agree with Clare completely it does definitely depend on how active your rest days are.
Personally I do my fasted cardio – then I lean more towards pro fat and protein through the day as my job isn’t very active. Then at night I walk with the dogs and get ready for the days training so add in a carb meal as my second to last meal.
The pro fat/protein also helps me with appetite on training days as I was struggling before when I was having lots of carbs in on training days. Again there is no one size fits all play with it and see which is best for you

Setting goals helped me this offseaon – whether that be progress within the gym or another aesthetic goal it’s good to keep them rolling as you have less time to think about being less conditioned

Feeling so much better – went out walking with the dogs yesterday, did some stair master and went out with the dogs again this morning and feel better for it.

I’ve got my post op checks on Monday so kind of holding off with anything until they’ve said they are happy with everything. As it’s my second time having the op doctor said recovery should be much easier and quicker but I don’t want to rush too early and get problems further down the line ☺️

Like Clare said – it’s been done now you need to dig deep mentally and not allow it to happen again give it a couple days a land body will be back to normal.

Is food super low or are you struggling with prep?
Make sure all stress is kept as low as possible to decrease risk of binging again

So yesterday went really well I was allowed to come home around 4:30pm as I was the first op of the day felt super groggy & didn’t manage to eat much yesterday apart from half a tuna sandwich and a bite of Kubas Chinese just felt I needed to sleep all day.
Had a monstrous sleep last night & feel so much better this morning.
Back to eating more of my plan foods with higher fats & proteins this week rather than carbs as I’m feeling super bloated from the anaesthetic & saline – going to get some good rest over the next couple of days plus at least a 40-60 min dog walk per day – more if I feel I can.
Thank you all for the well wishes it means a lot! I already can’t wait to be back in the gym already ???? but I know I need to heal!
