I always put my cardio at the start of the day so I can feed into my sessions – feel like fasted sets me up for a good routine and then feeding up ensures training is optimal for me personally

Hey Meg,
Looking awesome for your transition and really excited to see what Kuba brings soon! Question if I may… the cream of rice… is it as satisfying as oats? I want something that will keep me fuller longer if possible as on prep – but presuming the baby rice and COR will actual digest even quicker and better and leave me hungrier?
Rest day Burger and chips – is this just done in a reletively lean way and built in? I take it youre not having a dirty burger every rest day?! lolHey Reece,
Hope all is good with your prep? Which show are you doing?
COR – I have it more in offseason because it digests easier than oats for me and I tend to go for oats in prep like you day to try keep me a little fuller but I know lots of people who just have the COR all year…maybe try both and see?
So all my burger & fries I have are homemade ones so no dirty burger at all really me and Kuba have a cheat each week on a rest day around the weekend

Evening All!
A hectic couple days – yesterday evening was amazing in Manchester for Kubas birthday – was nice to spend some time together away from normal life ????
Then straight into legs when we got back which consisted of-
Leg press
Vsquat
Single leg hack
Hip thrusts
Single leg curl
Reverse hypers
Belt squat stiffsGreat session because I managed to engage glutes for the first time without my band – I really struggle with Glute growth which is a bit pants for a lady haha but I’ll get there!
Hope you’ve all had a lovely Monday!

Yeah the cheat meal is for my sanity. Dieting to lose body fat. I stared off with a loss of around 3lbs a week and it slowed to around 1lb a week until recently.
Cardio is 30 mins exercise bike every morning unless I’m really fatigued. I’ve missed maybe 3 days of this over the passed 2 months. A couple of weeks ago I’ve added incline walk 30 mins after a gym session, so this would only be on training days. None training days cals are around 1600 (not including the cheat meal). Neat activity is low as I have a desk job.
Pic is from right before the diet started and 2 weeks ago.
Do you think you’ll benefit more from a refeed as opposed to a cheat meal? Keeps the gut happier…less inflammation and all?

Yeah that could work. That way I’d be tracking everything as well.[/quote]
100% …and when it comes to training, I feel you’d be more productive after a refeed than after a cheat meal which tends to leave most people feeling sluggish, with hangover symptoms and inflamed

Completely agree with Oscar – I’d always use regrets rather than cheats when dieting
But also agree with a previous reply that cardio is quite high & cals quite low

Rest day today…
I always book in my furthest journeys for work on my gym rest days so was over in Bridlington I love this customer we get on super well and just always nice to go for a sit on the beach with a Diet Coke and chat after business is dealt with.
I’ve walked with the dogs, went to my managers leaving drinks and then chilled out ready for pull tomorrow after some client meetings in the AM
