I agree with Tim! I’d gradually build weight up over a few sets and then smash into it

    Rest day today!

Worked for a couple of meetings which were super intense for a Monday after moving all day yesterday (haha my brain couldn’t handle some of the questions)
Then I finished my admin, went to sort some bits for while me and Kuba are away and then chilled for the night together.

It’s leg day tomorrow and I can wait!

Evening All! Hope you’ve had a lovely Sunday.

Had an early start this morning to take my friends dogs walking before I headed to the gym for back, hams and glutes:
    Hip Thrusts
    Single arm low row
    Banded BB Stiff legs
    Single leg press
    Single leg curl
    Belt squat
    Lat pull down
    Tbar row

Was all on the menu today – training feels good and strong right now, but mind is a little beat if I’m honest with working, moving house, training and life so I’m very much ready for a little break from everything with this holiday.

This afternoon I had my brothers wife baby shower which was super cute and then spent the evening with family, Kuba sorting things ready for a lovely week ahead ????

I agree with Lara I’d separate cardio away from training so do it in the am and then training later on.

Diet needs to be spot on too – good idea to get body comp to a good place if you’ve been off the gym for a while

Eat clean always – obviously in offseaon you can have more variety by stick to the basics and work hard!

I agree with Kevin…until that fat comes off in specific areas you’ll have to get leaner everywhere else

So today was upper day – good day for numbers I added 5kg each side on shoulder press and an extra plate up and matched numbers on lay raises. Session is in the photo below

Feeling good – regarding checkin no changes have been made this week Kuba is happy so we will keep doing the same!

Hi meg question from my gf. When you are on peak weak do you increase your water through out the week or lower your water? And how many hours or days would you stop fluids for before your comp?

    Hey Jack!

I don’t really ever change anything in peak week my opinion is if your ready your ready so no point in changing something that isn’t broken. I will limit water the day before to more like 4L rather than my usual 6ish (I don’t track too much as I always drink lots) then limit on show day to 200ml per meal max – hope that helps

    Good luck this weekend…

Personally I wouldn’t change up your training so soon after competing let your body get a custom to lifting heavier and eating more again and see where you progress before changing up

Sounds like sciatica which is THE MOST horrendous pain! I’d go see someone to check it out
