Don’t ignore your body when it needs rest but if it brings you happiness that’s great, could you maybe do the rest day as still going to the gym to complete cardio as you are still in that environment which keeps you in a positive mental state but then not continuously pushing your body with weights

Thanks meg, from next week I’ll probably be doing 6 lifting sessions and 1 active recovery based session whi h willprbably involved e some light stationary bike work and core work even though I’m trying to add size atm. probably an hour at like level 1 or 2 2hi h should burn no more than 200 odd cals

Yes as long as it’s keeping you positive for now that is the main goal!

Today was another rest day as I’m feeling super run down.
So I spent the day working, food prepping, dog walking and went over to Manchester to shop with my friend. Feeling slightly better this evening ready for a an early night ❤️

    An ok-ish day

Feeling a little under the weather with the sniffles and temperature.

I did all my with from home today, dog walker and food prepped and then trained upper for a lighter session but ended up getting PBs. On all big lifts so I’m buzzing!

Try to keep cardio as low as possible with your active job. If your age was pull it back a bit

    Hey Corinne,

Yes it’s 3 on (pull, push, legs) rest and repeat.

I find the 3 on easier to manage with work and recovery has been ok. When I come off my cycle I’m not sure how I will manage with recovery so we will have to see 🙂

Mobility – if it isn’t there, then there is no point in doing them
