Hard to isolate the the VMO often the best advice is to bring the legs up as a whole and the vmo grows as result.
But extreme knee flexion exercises I’ve always found works well. So super heal raised smith squats, hack squats with wedge. Anything that really forces the knees over the toes

If you’re in legit stage condition, then I’d expect at least a 2kg weight gain first week, to drop some fatigue after show. Then maybe like 1lb a week going from there. But honestly, what you look like in the mirror will be the key factor to it

Primo would be the logical choice, as it’s very side effect friendly, minimal impact on bloodwork and very little need to use any ancillaries alongside it to control hormone levels going out of whack

Usually it’s easier to intrinsically identify if it’s caused by estrogen as there are other noticeable sides that manifest themselves from raised estrogen

Really hard to say how and when to go back tk
Full training after illness, as everyone’s recovery rates vary immensely. This is one of those times where you’ll just have to use your intuition and common sense, go by feel, energy levels, take it day by day -
High estrogen impairs bile flow and causes heart burn etc, which is why we often see much better digestion when it’s lower

Those pieces of equipment are wet specialised and only used with one purpose in mind, equipped powerlifting, which is a very niche subset of powerlifting and are there just to push the boundaries of weight lifted. They serve very little if at all any purpose in bodybuilding.

Can confirm love heart is pretty incredible for blood pressure, even more effective than telmistartan on its own for me

Best case scenario to be in eventually is
Food high
Food focus low
Drugs low
Cardio low – mediumThe most efficient way to get there is to slowly rebound out of a diet from the leanest start point you can do, so that you have maximal runway to increase calories from start to finish, whilst reducing the drugs and the high cardio along the way
Essentially you want to do everything you can to upregulate your metabolism as much as you can, without the aid of drugs. So that day to day life maintaining the condition you want is made easy, whereby you can have a few free meals here and there and your new BMR set point will easily cater to that

As he’s already got prostate issues, he should be running this cycle in lower estrogen environment than typically favoured. As studies have proven it’s mainly estrogen that causes prostate enlargement issues.
I would also use a PDE-5 inhibitor such as cialis as a low dose indefinitely around 5mg per day

Push pull rest legs rest repeat or some similar variation
Start with your main powerlifting lift. Bench on push, dead pull, squat on legs. Volume of sets would typically be increased for those lifts than a simple top set back off. Most of your sessions would be taken up by that first lift, with longer rest times than usual.
Rest of the session would be accessory lifts that most complement the main lift that day, as opposed to maximising hypertrophy. For these you can do a top set back off

Once you know the basics of training hard and integrating that with recovery demands, there is very little else to be educated on with training that makes a big big difference. Yes you can bury your head into nuances of perfecting your form if you like that, but essentially the training is the most simple aspect of it all.

MemberAugust 2, 2022 at 10:26 pm in reply to: 5 Weeks Out – Doing Something Wrong or Need to Suck it upThis is about the point where I usually give up and have given up in the past admittedly. You’ll have to assess whether or not the pain of enduring this longer will be worth the reward at the end. – for me it was not, and likely will not be until I go for a high enough calibre show that a pro card is a potentiality
Envision yourself at the end of this prep. And make the decision. You’re in decent enough shape right now that you can quite happily reverse out of this phase and get right back into gaining tissue so no problems there

Sensitive nipped could be down to estrogen or prolactin. Hard to say without bloodwork
But if you have the symptoms, I’d reduce test by 100mg and see how you fare. Might be worth having some nolvadex on hand in the interim

Have a look at the list of side effects of finasteride on any pharma website. Those are all the potential negative effects
