spend time in your warmup sets in the lengthened and short positions of the movement. I.e holding the stretch in the lengthened for a couple of seconds and holding the queeze in the short. Being able to know instinctively what it feels like to get the muscle as short and long as possible throughout the movement tends to help connect with the muscle.

This is a problem for many people, everyone has a bodypart that simply does not respond as well as the rest. Quite often, there really isnt a ‘be all end all’ answer. There are only a few options, you increase volume throughout the week in training legs, to the most that you can do and recover from, whilst reducing volume from your overpowering bodyparts.

Now, yes i can go on about ecercise selection, training techniques and progressive overload ect. but after 10 years of training I can only imagine youve tried everything and yet still suffer the problem.

Your symmetry and proportions are limited by your weakest bodypart. often it just comes down to training things less, and other things more – recovery permitted.

Leg day, largely very good, one iffy set which was my first ham curl set and I just wasn’t set up properly for it , it’s very heavy and I have to be really anchored down , my own fault . Aside from that set which I will take my revenge next time on , it was good

    Cable curl x 11 , x 17

    Ham curl x 7 , x 22

    Adductor rest pause x 16-3-1

    Leg press x 20 , x 11

    Pendulum paused x 5 ( 8 seconds a rep )
    Banded leg ext x 10 , x 9

    Glute bridge one and half’s x 7

    Leg raise rest paused 11-3-2

Dc leg press calf x 11

    Dc standing calf x 8

    Super happy overall.

Update on protein bars , choc caramel and dark choc raspberry will be our 2 launching flavours , as I said , gluten free , diary free , 20g protein – not a single other bar on the market that is all 3 of those. Lots that are one or the other but not all 3! This has been a long time coming because I refused to compromise on quality but equally needed the taste to be superb ! That’s why it’s taken so long we we have tried many manufactures. Literally can’t wait to get these in your hands and you be like, holy shit these taste good ? . This will be every pre workout for me going in as a staple and every pre bed meal

So Uflex rotherham has now just got the new gym shop adductor. Totally different feel to the standard adductor, feel actually quite vulnerable using this one as the legs are extended. Certainly a v scary exercise as the weight increases and potential for injury. Any tips youve found on the way you conduct the set? Where are you pausing in the rep – are you momentarily pausing fully lengthened then contracting?

6 week cycles is all that I do, short high intensity. Studies have pointed to that most of size and strength gains come in the first 6 weeks, i have found this to be true. Get in and out fast. Studies have also shown that damage from steroids comes from duration rather than dosage so theres another pro. 6 weeks on 4 off then 6 weeks back on for a total of 16 weeks, i have found is far more productive than just 12 weeks straight in everyway – trouble is, people hate coming off, and so dont do it.
In terms of drug selection, test is fine. Trestolone is a drug which i would say has a select few uses due to its often unmanageable sides such as aromatisation rates. So wouldnt advise it

    REST DAY

Been to work today . Done half a days work . Back home , slept for an hour & a half .. I won’t call that a nap …lol

I find I have to nap just to make up for my sleep because i don’t think I get 100% sleep overnight, with the snoring and all .

Today I went to see a gastroenterologist to try and sort my hiccups which have been very intense lately, sometimes having bouts lasting 48hrs. I rarely talk about it as it does put me down to be honest .

But today at least the doctor suggested a give a stool sample for a test to see if I got bacteria at what point they’ll prescribe anti biotics.

    Also he prescribed some medication.

At this point we’ll see how we go for the next couple of months .

If it persists then we’ll consider an invasive approach. (Camera down the digestive tract )
Not much else to report other than I feel very optimistic about this issue

Dht is not the only means by which something can be androgenic, the actual hormone of tren can bind to androgen sites. For example, test molecules can bind to sites that dht do, albeit test is less androgenic than dht. But it is still androgenic. The idea that the hormones have to be reduced down to then be androgenic isnt correct. Androgens bind to all androgen receptors. Just diff androgens such as tren, test or dht bind at different strengths

Jordan do you belive in That high rep ranges can build the huge quads? Im not able to train my quads in 6-8, 5-9 rep range cuz od knee isue. Should i stick to 10-20 rep range and progres from there?

Absolutely buddy, again the age old quote jp uses applies time and time again, add 1,2,3 plates a side more by getting stronger in any rep range will inevitably grow your legs. Its just a case of time before you become strong enough, to a point where youre adding even more plates that youll have huge legs.

what do you mean by moderate carbs? There comes a point where endogenous insulin production simply cant keep up with volume of food consumed.
What is you body composition like? Simply put are you carrying excess fat/weight and in turn becomes insulin resistant.
    Are you doing any cardio?
Analyse drug use – youve named hgh, a very prominent drug known for inducing insulin resistance, coupled any of the above issues and your blood sugar will skyrocket

Step – introduce cardio (quite possibly the biggest thing you can do right now, if you havent already done it)
    Reduce bodyweight excess fat
Certainly think about utilising some glucose disposal agents before turning to insulin, i.e. berberine, cinnamon, grape seed extract, bitter melon, chromium gtf
Think about halting the growth hormone for the time being and reduce consumption of foods that increase bg

Wait till all this uncertaintly and covid drama dies down, who knows whats going to happen with brexit and the future of the economy in these times. PT’ing is first and foremost a luxury for people and its fair to say that a lot are struggling these past few months and may continue to do so for the forseeable future. Best bet is to stay in current jobh, build up presence onm social media so that when the time comes, transition is easier and you already have a larger potential client base

Ask him for latest accounts, current membership figs, overheads ect.
Find out number of potential customers in the gyms local vicinity.
Find out if that current area is saturated already, if so with how many other gyms? and at what pricepoint do they target, what niche if any goes your gym fit into

If there is a significant potential customer base that has not been tapped into yet, can your gym fill it.
Who is your closest rivals? Can you improve the gym enough to persuade people to join your gym than others

Gym ownership is a real fight between head and heart, a lot of owners run inefficient low yielding gyms from following their heart too much. You have to remember that it is first and foremost a business.
