Thanks guys, it’s getting a little better with the ice & heat treatment, plus the anti inflammatory pills.
I’m off to a Physio next week, so hopefully be back to it soon ???????? lifts were really going up as well which is annoying.

I’l probably do 1 compound for chest, shoulders & back with max 2 work sets, then 1 isolation each. I may do a bit of arm work on the lower day? But might not need too. Legs will be a compound for quads and hams plus an isolation each, 2 work sets each total.

Awesome, thanks for the feedback, I certainly get stronger using Jordan’s style. Plus it makes more sense to increase weight and get stronger in the movements and cut out all of the extra volume per workout! Just to get more unnecessary work in. Good luck with your training and thanks for the help.

Cheers William, I’m thinking of trying the upper/lower split, as it’s complete different to anything I’ve tried before, plus as a trainer myself I put most of my clients through this split! And they reap the rewards every time! Perhaps it’s time to take my own advice ???????? thanks for the reply buddy.

Neutral grip is better for the triceps.

I usually warm up to my heaviest work set and aim for around 6-8 reps, then rest and take a little off and try to get 10-12 reps on my second work set (if I do a 2nd work set) I think if you get 10-12 on your first set, then go heavier for your 2nd set, but if you get 6 reps or so on your first set, then go lighter and aim for higher reps on your second set. Hope that makes sense.

Yeah, I think it’s time to get the calories back up and keep pushing up in numbers on the lifts, across those rep ranges.
Thanks, il let you know how it goes ????????

Thanks William, I’ve actually been in a deficit for a few months now, and still increased in strength using JPs methods, which has been awesome! I competed in strongman a while back so was working with the 5/3/1 system for around 2 years. I found it a bit boring after that long, but did get stronger. I’ve since found JPs site and love his approach, I’m actually stronger now on certain lifts in the 6-10 rep ranges, doing the 1-2 work sets as JP recommends. I think the extra frequency and working in the 6 + reps will work out better, just a waiting game I guess, and getting in a calorie surplus again.
    Thanks for your help ????????

Hi Jan, I can do the workouts in about an hour each. Hope your enjoying them as much as me, I’m lifting much heavier and getting a good sweat on at the same time! Be good to see the results after a good 12 weeks of this routine ????????
