Rest day today, been a busy one some pt clients this morning, client consults and check ins. Been a productive day, trying to fight off what could be a cold coming on so making sure I’m doubling up on my vit c and d3+k2, this time of year is the worst for it

All what I would have suggested has been mentioned already, and the replies are all pretty similar so that gives you some reassurance that the suggestions will help you

Hi guys, another de-volume session today. Hit pull with Karlton at my usual (new gym). Only 1 set per exercise taking my back off sets, but it was enough. Felt pretty pumped, but got in done what was needed then back home. Post workout meal has gone in, 1 more meal to go and definitely another early night aiming to be in bed around 8:30

First day back in the gym after my rest days. De-volume push session, it’s always one of those where I have to remind myself not to go all out and stick to the lower volume. I trained on my own today at my local gym. It made sense as it’s de-volume so I trained earlier and also Kerry got back today so it meant being able to spend some time with her.been good catching up, looking forward to getting an early night tonight also

It’s common and not unheard of, I wrote an instagram post of my own experience last year. Moving forward I’d focus on the points Kuba has mentioned. You’ve owned it and now you want to move forwards so don’t dwell on it put it down to experience.

The last of my rest day today before getting back to training after 4 days rest from the gym; sat / sun my usual rest days then mon and Tues extra rest days. It’s been a busy day today, pt client in the morning, client work, food prep, few errands as Kerry’s back from competing tomorrow morning. A later than planned night this evening but I wanted to get more done today so aside from training I’m free to spend time with Kerry as it’s been so long (2.5 weeks since I last saw her)

I’ve just seen this question now. I’d imagine from the date you’ve posted this there should hopefully be some improvement. The advice Clare gave is very good and what I would recommend also. If you aren’t already record your sets when training and watch them back. The pain in you head could well be down to your breathing pattern.
To add to the golfers elbow, seeing a physio would be beneficial here

Hi guys today was a rest day for me. Nothing out of the ordinary for me, steps upon wake, food prep for the day, client work and chill. Been a chilled day trying to not do more than needed to get me feeling more rested before back to training on weds

Hang in there, as the team have said this is common and something I can relate with one side of body being stronger on certain exercises. Take additional sets on the weaker side only, I found that over time it does help and try to distribute weight evenly when training bilaterally

My usual rest day today. Got my feedback back in from Kuba today, looking fuller and leaner and my bodyweight this past week has trending up 0.6kg on average. He’s ordered two days rest tomorrow and Tuesday then weds I’ll be back in the gym for de-volume. Definitely welcome the rest as I feel really tired this last week,
… on another note Kerry came 2nd today in the bikini pro show out in Taiwan. I’m so so pleased for her, I was shouting at my phone when watching her I so wanted her to win but she’s do amazing this year. Meg has took her under her wing and a 5th place and 2nd place finish out of 3 shows is something to be very proud of

I’d rinse all you can naturally before you make that jump to assisted. Could you be doing things better still now? The likelihood is yes so aim to perfect the different areas, improve training, sleep, recovery, nutrition. Once you have this rinsed completely then and only then think about taking the next step to assisted

Last session of the week today and went all in again. This has been a very productive training week taking intensity up another level and really enjoying it too even with dipped energy levels. It’s been around 6-7weeks since my last de-load and it feels like my body is ready for it. But the work this week went in, strength is in a good spot and I’m growing lean. No complaints, it’s about being patient now in this push up

Continue to push mate you look great

Another session I went into today feeling a little tired. I think the intensity from sessions since having a training partner has definitely stepped up and this is part of the reason. But, mindset switched on when in the gym and across the board all exercises were progressed today which I’m very happy about. One more session to go tomorrow to finish the training week then I will speak with Kuba about energy levels
