I agree with the guys, monitor it for another week. The positives is that gym performance has been great so than in itself is a win. Creep food up gradually don’t be in a rush especially if you have mapped out a long off season

Usual midweek rest day for me. Today I would normally go to the physio but taking this week off, and instead had a sports massage. I speak with my physio regularly throughout the week, so I did my rehab work this morning along with training abs. Strength around my shoulder is definitely a lot stronger now than it was a few weeks ago.

It’s my mums birthday today so going round with the family to see her shortly.

Agree with the guys, if you have your phone with you then you won’t need to download an app it will do it automatically. I personally prefer to use my oura ring as I find that’s more accurate and I don’t always have my phone on me so that personally works better for me.

Big leg session this morning with Karlton. Second week back tracking legs with him and numbers are not the rise. Really happy to see progress across all lifts today either with weight or reps so I’ll definitely take that. I’m on a mission to build up some big lifts with the Nytram leg press, still a very long way off what Jordan lifts ha but it keeps me pushing for more ha

Hi mate, have you had a look at Jordan’s YouTube videos on how to structure these sessions? If not that would be a very good starting point for you to watch and understand how to go about structuring your workouts

In person posing session today, small group of 3 posing clients today. Really enjoying helping clients to help present their physique to the fullest on stage. Father’s Day today, kerry myself and my youngest daughter went to the cinema today which was a nice afternoon out. Watched the open bodybuilding pro show today, sas and Kuba looked really good. Great to see Alison up there looking great too – the tbjp team representing on the pro stage. Going to watch a little of the England euros football game before heading off to sleep

Thanks guys for your support. I’ve progressed well on main lifts. I think I’m still at a point where I could get so much out of any lifts and improve session to session. I probably mismanaged my nutrition before (few meals, macros not being there to support progress) but took some corrections and results are coming along

I fully agree with what Rich has said, focus on the other variables as your main focus and keep training hard

Rest day for me today. I was in the gym early doors today with two of my masters clients in for posing sessions and a current condition check ahead of their shows in 15-16 weeks time. An afternoon with my youngest daughter today, I’ve taken her to the hairdressers to get her hair done. Chilled day for the rest of the day, no doubt she will keep me busy but I wouldn’t have it no other way.

How’s your recovery at the moment?

What does your current training split look like over the week including your rest days?

When was your last de-load / de-volume sessions?

When you say handful of spinach / salad, get accurate weigh them out.

Solid leg workout to end my training week today. Very happy with training this week especially my leg sessions. Feeling like I’m going to get some newbie gains from some of the new exercises in my plan. Finished my session and that was me done, had nothing else to give. Looking forward to a solid sleep today because my energy is deffo gone… the way it should be!!

My questions on your set up echo that of the team. How long have you been running this training split for? Are you seeing progress in your leg development/ progressing lifts. There are of course some variations you could add into your plan such as good mornings, Bulgarian split squats, single leg leg press (if you changed workout order) but ultimately it comes down to if you are progressing with your sessions and if you are able to recover also

Upper b session ticked off this morning. Decided to get my session done earlier today, to free up some time this afternoon to get some other bits done outside of client work. Was a pretty good session, felt like I had some more stability in my shoulder when working bilaterally on exercises, even though load isn’t very high.

    My session today was;

Upper back cable pull down : 2 sets of 12-15 reps. 2 second spent in stretch each rep
Single Arm Cable Row lat bias 1 set of 8-12 reps, 1 sets of 12-15 reps.
Pronated grip Chest Supported Row upper back bias: 2 sets 10-12 Reps
Single pull down – lat bias : 1 sets of 8-10 reps, 1 set of 12-15.
Rear delt row: 3 sets of 12-15 reps high to low plane cable set up.
Incline cable fly: 3 sets of 15-20 reps
Single Arm Cable Curl shortened range bias facing stack 3 sets 8-10
Single arm machine preacher curl: 3 sets of 10-12 reps

Just catching up on this thread. Did you take any days rest since the replies above, if so how are you feeling now?
