Agree with the comments above, but also you might find a slight refeed increased calories for 1-2 days will be enough to get things moving again before you resume dieting

Hi guys, all systems go today. Kerry’s show day today, looking like a 6th place position for her in the pro bikini line up, she stayed in the centre of second call outs. She took a very impressive look to the stage, I’m really proud of her. Finals soon, so confirmation of placings will be then. Really pleased for Josh bridgman competing in pro classic for his debut and he looks really good, top 3 spot

What are you doing currently or what have you done previously? Do you have a preference for the type of training split you would prefer? If you wanted some more context around the types of training split have a look at Jordan’s YouTube channel where he speaks about the different types of training splits and how which type of split might work best for you

Leg session over at a different goals gym today. I was the other side of town because I got my haircut and there was a golds gym literally 1 minute away so I trained there instead. The gym was ok, the kit wasn’t as good as the golds gym i had been training at but I still got a good leg session in. Kerry is competing tomorrow, so I went with her to the athlete registration. Very excited to see her compete and make her debut competing out here in America. She’s looking incredible, Meg has nailed it once again coaching her!

Programming is based on your individual needs. If legs is a dominant body part then your first workout split that you wrote can work will here. Switching between the training days you have highlighted can work and this gives you the chance to focus on the muscle groups that need the most attention. Equally the second approach can work too. Have a watch of Jordan’s YouTube videos on how you can set up these type of training splits / exercise selection

Check in pics taken this morning ahead of check in day / feedback from Kuba tomorrow. I posted up some pics to my IG, I’m really happy with how much my legs have improved and despite not being able to train my upper body properly I pleased with how I’ve managed to maintain size. Today I trained upper body, had a good session at golds gym, mainly back dominant upper with the nautilus original pieces with nitro pulldown and xpload row and price row for my upper back. Heading to get a coffee with kerry now and chill outside for a short while

Sound advice from the team here, I’d roll with the points they have said

So today was a rest day for me. Definitely welcomed after a big leg session yesterday. Today I ticked off my steps, client work / set ups, chilled in the sun and also went to gym with kerry to help film some content for her YouTube channel. She looks really good, and I’m excited to see her compete this weekend with how well Meg is bringing her in for this show!

i agree I would want to push a little leaner If you can – the leaner the better always for me,
If your having some food focus issues have 2-3 days at maintain kcal but give yourself some macro based meal for variety – then get stuck back into a deficit and pull off another 5-10lb and you will be in the perfect spot IMO
Fully agree with Hilly here, this would be a sensible approach. Well done on how far you’ve got so far, re-set stayed focused and finish strong! Keep us updated once you finish your cut with some pics

Really good leg session today, usual workout but using a few different machines. Great to connect with people out here who also love bodybuilding and also offer some advice to some people who are competing as amateurs this weekend. Fortunate to be in the position I am to help others especially as I know what it’s like coming up and trying to learn and improve, something I don’t take for granted being a pro and given advice. I’ve done a vlog of my day – my first ever so keep an eye out for when I drop that on YouTube!

I completely agree with the guys here. It’s understandable you are looking for the most “optimal” exercise but you can’t beat training hard and giving 100%

Hi guys, first session out here in Texas and hit up an upper session. I trained at golds gym, and it was really good. Not in the sense of weight because of my shoulder injury, but the kit and atmosphere was really good. Still feeling the jet lag, but it was better than yesterday so getting a little more used to here. Weather out here is great, it’s in the 30s. Pretty cool in golds gyms today some people recognised me.

7th sept is show day
cardio reduced from 40mins treadmill to maybe 20? wouldnt have inflammation on legs with that much i think
Yes or you can even pull cardio completely and go with daily steps as that is less taxing on the body

Hi guys, so arrived late yesterday to Texas after almost 24 hours travel as both the main flight and connecting flight was slightly delayed. Time difference deffo thrown me and kerry off today, the uk is 6 hours ahead but hopefully in a day or two we will be back to normal

Hi guys, woke up today my lightest weight so far on my cut 120.4kg this is 0.3kg lighter than my previous low. Happy with how I am looking visually, improving each week so that’s great to see. Currently sitting in the departure lounge, ready and waiting to take off heading to America. It will be business as usual for me, still on my cut and doing my usual daily routine – steps, training, client work, cut food plan but just in a different Country whilst supporting kerry and I am really looking forward to it
