Hey Corinne, it could be but I’ve used profat rest days for years and used olive oil as a fat source and never had a problem so not sure what has caused it! Feeling a little better today as the fats have been low. See how I am over the next few days and adjust accordingly!

Hey Guys, just wrapped up a great shoulder session with James and Arj. Hit some calves after and now doing some post workout cardio. Still feeling flat today but pushing on as we still need to pull some fat off. Going to get a deep tissue on my back today as feeling a bit tense. Any questions about today’s workout or anything just hit me up below!

I have to agree with Clare on this one! Battle ropes are great and shouldn’t stress the knee at all!

Good morning guys, just doing some Fasted cardio. Weight has dropped to 81.1kgs today. Stomach still feels a bit uncomfortable but we’ll see how the change in diet today effects that! This for this week going to follow the diet below:

    M1 – 400g Egg Whites, 3 Plain Ricecakes

    M2 – 200g Turkey, 50g Oats

    M3 – 200g Cod, 125g Rice Cooked, 10g Olive Oil

    Intra – MPS x 2 Servings

    M4 – 400g Egg Whites, 2 x Bagels with Low Sugar Jam

    M5 – 200g Cod, 125g Rice Cooked

    M6 – 50g Whey ISO, 35g Oats

So the fat content is much lower than current which I’m hoping speeds up digestion. I’ll keep you guys posted! Cardio is currently at 50 Mins LISS Fasted along with 20 Mins LISS Post Workout! Have a productive day guys!

Good evening guys! So after a nice weekend off the gym I am really looking forward to training tomorrow! I’ve had no carbs for the past 2 days and I’m feeling super exhausted and flat as a pancake! Also slightly struggling a little with digestion which is strange as food has been low. I’m going to adjust my diet slightly for next week will post tomorrow what I decide to do with it. Probably lower fats quite substantially to help aid fast digestion for now. Also going to have a ProCarb meal before bed tonight so hopefully I can get a decent sleep and help boost my metabolism! 50g Whey ISO and 85g Oats! Any questions just comment below!

Ah sorry buddy must have missed those comments, how are going to approach your offseason, keeping it tight so there’s no need for clean ups, or push up get a little fat then clean up and repeat ?

Hi Dan, to be honest I’m not really sure yet. Me and James have been throwing some ideas across to eachother but we haven’t decided how we’re going to approach things just yet! We will decide in the next coming month and obviously you guys will be the first to know so stay tuned for updates!!

Keep working away. The fat will come off eventually you just need to keep working for it! Try different types of cardio.. maybe Fasted or LISS or HIIT and do cardio more often. Have to try different things and see how your body responds to them!

    Hi buddy,

If you main goal is to gain more size, and your a hard gainer, why keep the food so low, you know you can get peeled why not make full use of your rebound phase and push up to gain a few extra lbs tissue while the body is super responsive .. unless are planning another show ?

Hi Dan, as I mentioned in a few previous posts I have a few photo shoots and holidays coming up so I haven’t started my offseason yet and still trying to stay in relative shape for now!

Hi mate, your going to feel a bit tired and hungry when your dieting! It’s a given! There’s very few people that get away with eating large amounts of food and don’t feel hungry when dieting so it’s something your going to have to get used to! It is very tough mentally but if you try and keep your mind busy and keep very hydrated that can help a little!

Good afternoon guys! Weekend off the gym for me. 2 rest days means 2 no carb days. On my rest days I have 6 meals a day still but shoot for around 40g protein and 10g of fat with each meal. I don’t do cardio on rest days but I try and stay active and keep water intake at around 4-5l. If you want to hear more about my rest day protocols or the reasons behind it hit me up below guys! Have a lovely weekend all!

Hi buddy! I do weigh myself everyday to be honest just so I can keep an eye on things but it’s not necessary at all I dont think. When your dieting to lose fat realistically you should really be dropping a bit of weight each week unless your introducing Anabolics and then composition can change and weight can remain the same or even increase and the same when your trying to gain muscle it’s good to keep an eye on things as if your weights going up slowly and your composition isn’t changing and your getting stronger you know your building some good quality tissue! Keep an eye but don’t obsess id say!

Exactly mate like if your in a deficit there’s no way your not losing fat! Could be stress or other things so try not to get fixated on it!

Hey Guys! So today has been a really stressful day! I got called out of bed early for work to an emergency, which made me late for my cardio and late for the work I already had booked in so I was stressing out! I had to miss a meal to make it to the gym on time as I don’t like to keep the big man waiting too long! Then on the way to the gym to meet james I got called to another emergency which stressed me out and made me even later! Finally got to the gym and ended up having a great workout we smashed legs and to be honest my energy was super super low but we both kicked it up a gear and pushed through! Done some cardio after training then on the way home got called to 2 emergencies which made me super later for my post workout meal! Finally just had my post workout meal which is meal 3 of 6! So it’s going to be a late one for me today staying up to get all the meals in but it is what it is! Not everyday is going to be perfect and run smoothly and there are a lot of stresses in life with work and relationships that’s hard to control when your dieting and in a calorie deficit but even though it’s really hard to stay relaxed it is the best thing! I feel stressed and anxious today my body feels tired and tense. Going to head to the local leisure centre for a swim and jacuzzi and a little sauna and just try and unwind for the rest of the evening. Get my meals in watch some tv and catch up with some clients! If you’ve got any questions about today’s workout or want to know how I try and deal with stress just hit me up below guys! Have a great weekend!

Hey Corinne, well! I actually usually wake up early and eat this meal and then go back to sleep. I started off with a Pro Carb meal which was 400g Egg Whites & 50g Oats however I felt like I wasn’t digesting it fully and after I had woken back up and was ready to do cardio I noticed my blood glucose reading sometimes was still relatively high. So I decided to switch to a ProFat meal which was 400g Egg Whites & 2 Whole Eggs which seemed to digest much better even if I slept afterwards and it kept my blood glucose reading in good range. Recently I wanted to reduce my calorie intake slightly so I decided to cut the fats from this meal and just have the 400g egg whites and it digests so easily for me it’s been working really well. It’s a little bland but it is what it is! I’m sure I will change as I develop into more of an offseason.

Also me and james just recently decided to change out training split. I feel like I am recovering just in time as the split seems to just allow enough time for recovery however I feel like I did recover better doing a push pull legs rotation so I think we will both revert back to that very soon. You’ve got to try these things I guess or you won’t know how they effect you! Also lovely having the weekends off and really miss the gym motivation for a killer training week ahead!!

Hello buddy , will be following along on your journey.

Question regarding the above. You were waking up, having some protein and carbs then going back to sleep for an hour or 2.

Physiologically why would you of thought your bloody sugar would return to normal, metabolic rate while you went back to bed would be reduced plus no expenditure from movement so it was never going to drop. Surely though this would of been rectified by the cardio anyway as it would of dropped them as you burnt it off.

Just curious as to the thinking here. if blood sugars were back in range or 1 point elevated your going to do cardio and drop them anyway so it makes no difference really. If on was to be about to eat a meal maybe but you were going to cardio.

More importantly – how much size do you feel you need to put on, whats your limit and how far are you off it.

You and james make a good pair, nothing better than having a best bud that is into this and you can train together, eat together and push each other. Im fortunate to have the same. Hes just not as impressive as james is lolol

Hey Buddy! For the most part them carbs actually flew straight through me. I don’t eat carbs before bed and then being fasted overnight for 8 hours and getting up and eating 40g protein and 30g of carbs going back to bed my blood sugar would usually naturally go back down into range after 2-3 hours. Me and james first started to do that as a little protector for muscle tissue after being in that fasted state overnight. Then waiting 3 hours would pretty much be fasted again and then doing cardio. It was just something new that we tried during prep. Seemed to work well.

I do need to put a lot more size on all over. I was 8kgs under the weight limit for my height so I’ve got plenty to play with! Even 3/4kgs of lean tissue on my body would make a huge difference! It’s going to take a long time to build on my body as I am a “hard gainer” as they would say but I love Bodybuilding and training and competing so there’s no rush for these things! It will come with more time.

Me and James have a great relationship we work very well together we feed off eachother we push eachother it’s really been such a recipe for success for both of us! Good to have someone there that you click with and both want to achieve the same goals and work hard for them!

Appreciate you keeping up to date buddy as I will with you guys and all the other athletes! So happy to be a part of the team! Some good stuff coming up!
