Legs epic session had to dig in to progress / match reps this time tho

Still a great session but certainly a touch harder

Usual

Seated leg curl x2
RDL x2
Lying ham x2
Leg ext x2
Leg press x2
Hack x1

Solid session and seeing some huge changes visually so on we push now

Yeah kuba I do feel tired, I think I need a week deload. I have just had 3 days of rest. And I’ve been trying to get leaner and been in a deficit so when I restart my cycle I’m in a super lean position to grow. But just feels like I have 0 test in body lol, I am using quanta lab and I got the number of a well known IFBB pro who uses exactly the same stuff so I know it’s legit.

Just because he gave you number doesn’t mean the bottle is legit there is sometimes issues with raws

Hence why I always test anything I use

Get your bloods done first

Secondly if bloods check out and test is what it says it is – some people lose the libido when leaner it’s normal, get out of a deficit to get it back.

I would check some blood work also

Are you tired ? Are you eating in a surplus ? How lean are you ??

Rest day new low 248.8 and a lot leaner, little flatter but it’s needed.

Condition is better now than it was at 6/7 weeks out so I am exactly where I need to be this far out for my goals this year that I want to tick off with condition and size.

Sleep hasn’t been the best last few nights but it is what it is, will nap today and chill after my steps.

Already boxed off most of my work before 7 am as I woke up at 5:30 and got straight stuck in

Some fasted Steps done and 1 hour deep tissue followed by sauna.

Let’s GO

Hi Hilly

Appreciate the response bud.

That’s good then – sounds like it’s not a urgent cause for concern just yet!

I was put off by doing the usual Google search and seeing that some sites say a “reading of over 7.0 twice consecutively indicates diabetes” lol

Never google eh.

I’ll test again daily for a week or so but with plenty of fluids beforehand and see what comes of it

Thanks again

If you genuinely do have these readings consistently that is pre diabetic bud

Shouldn’t ever see it above 5.5 imo as a bodybuilder, above is where you are simply over saturated and insulin resistant

Providing your testing is accurate
Alright pal

Yeh it’s a tad concerning but I think there’s a few things I need to cover first to be sure. Hydrate for one, use a different machine and/or strips (the strips are actually new now I think about it).

I’ll drop in here how it goes over the next few days and suppose I’ll just have to go from there.

Appreciate the time gents as always
Keep us posted
Morning gents

6.9 this morning after a good amount of water and waiting 15/20 mins

Doesn’t look good.

I’m hoping it’s a severe acute reaction to way higher than normal stress levels at the moment but I’m going to arrange a HBA1C to see if that shows anything.

I did also test them 1 hour 40 after my evening meal last night and they came out at 7.7 which is only 0.1 above what my fasted levels were yesterday morning. So this seems to point to it being a specific issue to the period in waking if I’m right? I would have thought 7.7 just 1 hour 40 after a meal isn’t too bad.

I’ll keep testing to see how it tracks.

Push day was my usual session with nytram pro series – epic session, today was same again a tremendous pull session –

No changes to session / volume still the same starting this one with just 1 set of pull up.

Feel good, best position I’ve ever been in by a mile this far out so it’s exciting if I am honest.

Jsut have to keep driving this momentum forward now. Full focus has to stay.

Feeling extremely positive about everything so I’m happy.

Hey Kuba –

Really enjoyed your recent podcast with Scott McNally. Those episodes have been pure gold.

Question – what adjustments would you make to training in the post-show period? Assuming a male, needing to put on size, feeling motivated and healthy.

Thank you!

Volume should be the same as it was pre show ( already lowered to accommodate recovery )

Then titrate up slowly based of how you feel, address any injury and functional issues with movements etc

Hey Mate

Question

i will bi now on Prep from April till First week of September

in the last week befire my show i would make a blood work to check where i am

After this i planned a recovery phase 6 weeks with 250mg test only

and after this time i would start pushing around 20-26 weeks depends on health and blood also

would you make after this a small cut? or maintain 4 weeks and push again for the second time?

and also post show 1% per bodyweight to gain back in first weeks or is this not a optimal idea for guys who are in mens physique?

It depends

If your end point is still good and you haven’t rushed and got fat I would like to see you maintain off cycle after push up and then diet –

If you got fat quick you will then not need a maintance phase

All depends on how you execute the push up

First week I’d look for a few lbs you want to regain 5% ish within first month ideal world most gain more again depends on your ability to adhere

Hi Kuba, from your research and looking at clients blood work, do you think tamoxifen had a negative impact on one’s lipid profile or blood work in general? Thank you sir!

Yes it will, I see no reason to use unless it’s used acutely due to poor stack Desing –

Simply put – you don’t need it or an ai if you know how to manipulate drugs well

Key is control

Don’t be slow – slow shit

You need to be in total control of both end ranges, good control on way down ( eccentric )

Pause

Powerful into the concentric ( going up ) without spazzing out.

Nail this and you have no option but to squeeze and contract it happens as a by product

Ok cool thanks, will have to have a chat with a few people. Any thoughts on choosing between someone working in the gym or go with an online coach – recommendations? I’m based in Australia

This will be down to your preference

Push day

Absolutely immense session, progressed every single set and everything felt epic.

Very very happy with this so it’s time to push on.

Physique wise I am seeing some nice changes too so I am very pleased.

Key now is stepping forward and enjoying every single day.
