Sweated out the craziness of the weekend with 30’mins rowing this morning. It felt awesome to get moving and surprisingly I’m not too ill. Hit a nice light leg session back.

    Safety bar squats

    Leg extension

    Leg press

    Hamstring curl (seated)

    Adductor

    Bw split leg squats.

It kicked my ass but I’m glad I took it easy as I know I’ll be ready for a glutes and hams focused day tomorrow. We also started with a new meal prep company and the food is amazing quality to I’m excited to see how a few months go with them.

At some point a lot of the athletes have tried it but now as our form and execution of the lift has improved such as taking our time in the lengthened position of the movement – we tend to just stick with that. You’ll see a lot of us in some way bias the lengthened position during training, such as by use of the different resistance profiles on the prime equipment

Flying back to Dubai today. It’s been a great 5 days and we’ve had so much fun. Done enough steps for an entire month and enjoyed our time with friends. Our first flight was delayed and then we had to stop in Bosnia and transfer to a different plane. (Hopefully our luggage has successfully done the same 🥲 I don’t think I can take loosing it again in the same week). We are now in Vienna for a few hours and our flight home to dubai gets in at 5am.

We’ve got our meals ready to start fresh tomorrow and plan to hit the ground running with a leg session. I’m looking forward to welcoming the doms back 😅.

Last day in split, Croatia today. It’s so beautiful here we decided to go for a longer walk this morning down to the beach and then visited the harbour. I think it’s one of my favourite places for scenic views. We had some local risotto which was amazing and walked around the area we are staying.

It’s been a great trip but looking forward to heading back tomorrow and getting back into some routine.

Second to last day here in Croatia. Despite loosing our luggage we’ve managed to have an insane time. A little stressful but we have made it work. I’m 3kg down this morning which is from the raving and lack of eating enough. Always happens and I always bounce back.

Been averaging at 60k steps a day too and my foot has been absolutely fine!

Tonight is the last night of the festival so we’re meeting up with a few more friends and going to have a great time.

If you’ve always rounded it from the start and progressively built up the weight in sensible jumps, then it’s unlikely you’ll ever get an issue with it

Had a nightmare, so we arrived at the airport last night and neither of our bags had arrived. Then later that night my friend Sophie who was coming with us called to say they had lost her bag on her flight too! You couldn’t write it.

We had actually planned to train today but didn’t have anything with us at all and still no sign of our bags. We went to the mall to get some essentials and enough to be able to still go to the festival tonight and have some fun.

Take it hear round, don’t think too much about it, it’s one of those supplements that you won’t notice much from, but it adds that bit of percentage over a long timeframe, and be confident it’s doing it thing

Trained legs yesterday. Was the last session before heading to Croatia today.

We went back to dungeon gym because they have an awesome smith machine there and I’m in love with split squats and heel elevated squats. Super smooth – I think it’s a cybex similar to JPs but I think a different model.

My foot still isn’t too great, can’t say going away this weekend is a great idea but we’re going with friends and it was all pre arranged so we’re going to make it work.

    My leg day looked like:

    Leg extension

    Leg press

    Smith machine heel elevated squats

    Hamstring curl (seated )

    Hamstring curl (standing)

    Adductor.

My log wouldn’t post yesterday so lets try posting it again now:

Great leg session today, annoyingly my foot did suffer a bit from doing the safety bar squats the other day and i think it was still too soon to introduce the balance + weight so i decided not to squat today as i do have a festival this coming weekend with a lot of walking planned and want it to be on its best behaviour for that. My workout consisted of:

leg extension, raised front foot split squats (these are a new one ive been doing recently and very humbling, i am just usuing BW right now), adductor, seated hamstring curl, lying hamstring curl and 6 sets on leg press.

Today is a rest day for me, work, clean the house, take the dog for a walk later when it cools down, do some cardio (rowing) and later i think i will go for a sun bed to top up my tan.

Rest day today, i spent this morning doing some work and took the dog for a walk around 6.30am. It’s so hot here now he can either go for a walk early morning or late in the evenings after 10pm and i would rather be up early than out late. I went to get my hair and nails done this afternoon ready for a few trips i have lined up over the next few weeks. I had my extensions taken out as its getting so hot here now they are feeling a bit to heavy and hot with sweating and training daily. My legs are burning from the safety bar squats i did the other day, i am training them again tomorrow so that should be good fun 🙂
