Hey guys! So rest day today for me. Pretty chilled day food shop this morning. Followed by doing a few jobs round the field and taking photos of the cows we have for sale. A tad bit of admin work and get a few things ready for the week. X

  • I agree with Marc here, don’t get too caught up in training methods styles. Do what you enjoy and what actually works for you which may take some trial and error.

I’ve personally found have sets that cover most rep ranges works best for me so some low rep sets some high and also some intensifiers

A lot will come down to genetics and them that can grow from training like this could probably grow from doing any kind of training.

I would start by getting some soft tissue work done around your lower back/ hip glutes hams adductors and quads. I would also get a physio to just check for any weaknesses in the surrounding muscles that could be causing the issue.

Also look at scaling back weight and building up very slowly

Evening all! Trained legs today had a very good session did a few exercises with James but we have different sessions so we go our separate ways when we need to. We trained a little earlier today as we had a few errands to run after training. We then did some fencing as the cows broke out the field – not the nicest after legs but all part of it haha! Feedback from check in – all good nothing needs changing. Many people would see them kind of check ins as boring but in my eyes if there’s no changes it’s because things are going well- so can’t complain x

Hey I would listen to your physio in terms of rehab wise. Make sure your diet is on point don’t be in a deficit you need to have enough calories to recover and heal.

You can still train upper lower just find out your limit with what exercises you can and can’t do as time passes and you heal you’ll find you can add exercises you couldn’t do previously. I would just go off feel.

In terms of supplements I would highly suggest cure coming, join in & Osteo pro aside from that you could utilise HGH and bpc157 & tb500 to help with healing

I agree with everyone control but with intent. I personally do have slight movement but it’s always controlled and I connect very well with my delts. But I would always say standardise form and control for delts

Just to add, I would either look for another job or just grin and bear it in your current job till you can move on. I would look at moving out if possible to remove yourself from the ‘home’ environment this will give you space to do your thing without other peoples opinions

Hey Adrian, so personally I’ve experienced this a lot my family don’t like bodybuilding and have never been supportive of it. I’ve been bodybuilding 12+ years now and still my parents ask me when I’m going to quit and haven’t I wasted enough money on it and when am I going to live?

This is very hard to deal with but I had to really separate myself from them I moved a little further away as I was literally down the road from my parents and seeing them very often. Now this doesn’t mean I no longer see them I just make more of an occasion of it I don’t ever bring up bodybuilding and they’ve learnt not to ask. I’ve learnt to know I don’t need their support I just need me and my partner/ friends. My parents/ family don’t get it and never will but you then have to separate that.

You kinda of just have to let go of wanting that recognition from family – that is very hard it hurt me for a very long time because all you want to do is make you parents proud – and bodybuilding for me will never do that.

Have a good understanding of why you do what you do and if that’s strong enough you’ll find a way you might lose friends/ relationships on the way but you’ll make it work.

I still have a very good relationship with my family we just don’t discuss bodybuilding haha!
