Happy Monday everyone!! Hope you e all had a wonderful start to your week.
Spent the morning doing check ins + a few plan updates/ new training plans etc..
I then did some admin & house work before training upper
My new split is basically upper lower but adapted for me slightly I quite like it as it has pretty much everything I need at a decent frequency. Just hoping I can recover from it. So far so good though š
Today session –
Side delt raises
Lat pull down
T bar row
Single arm row
Single arm pull down
Upper back row
Rack pulls
Ez bicep curl
Dual cable bicep curl
& absIāve never run 2 hip hinges in the space of 1 week before so will be interesting to see how my body responds/ recovers. I think on cycle this shouldnāt be an issue as my recovery is like super human on cycle haha but off cycle itās not as good. I am however only training 4 times a week so that also might balance this all out.
I will keep you updated and post my thoughts & progressions.
Late one tonight only just finished work and settled will be off to bed in 10 mins x

I would take longer between sets or move to upper lower like others have advised

Hey I agree with Pheebs, you will learn a lot from following knowledgeable bodybuilders. Been there done that kind. This site & the YouTube series will cover ALOT!
And you can also ask questions/ read other peopleās questions/ answers and learn from that.
Qualifications like legit qualifications are great if you need them for a certain job. But personally Iāve learnt a lot from YouTubeās/ other bodybuilders/ coaches/ podcasts

Personally when Iāve been in jobs that I canāt eat during I too escape to the toilet (not the nicest) but is what it is.
I did also once in one job ask if I could split my hour break up so I had mini breaks for food – that wasnāt an issue because some staff had fag breaks so they couldnāt say no really haha!
But I understand classes are different to employment you just need to do what you can do

Evening all! Sunday = rest day for me. I always try and take the day to wind down from the week take the day to rest/ spend time being present at home. It was James birthday today so itās been a nice chilled day. Didnāt do anything crazy as thatās not his vibe he just wanted a chill day together so thatās what he got. We also had a nice lamb dinner at his parents house on the evening and a small slice of chocolate cake haha!

Heyy guys! First day of my new training plan, had awesome session.
Leg session went as follows
Glute hip thrust
Db rdl
Pendulum squat
Single leg press
Cable glute kick backs
Hack squat
Standing calves
Toe pressWas real nice to hit db rdl absolutely loved it happy with 60kg dumbbells as my starting point to run up nice and strong šš¼
This evening me and James had an off plan meal together which was lovely and had a chilled night watching a film.

Hey, thatās probably because for most coaches this is beyond their scope. This is more what physios etc learn at university. What I would suggest is get a coach thatās willing to work with your physio. Physio can do treatments & advise coach & you what exercises are best for rehab and also general training and what are your no goās.

Hey it depends what youāre doing & your goal and also how physical your job/ day to day activity

I agree you need to eat to your needs and more than likely if youāre training hard youāll need/ require food on a training day.
This also depends on what your day to day activity if you have a physical job you may need more cals on a rest day

Hey all!! Checked in this morning & we have a new training plan so took an extra rest day now so I could start the new plan from tomorrow. Very excited for this, Iāll be posting it my sessions & Iāll video for insta if you want to see š today has been a big admin day few check ins and lots of admin. Pretty chilled evening and off plan meal with James x
