I make it work for anything , I would much rather exercise rotation , it is way way more efficient , as diff moves contribute to being able to sustain progress on other moves , but I literally don’t have the kit in cojos atm , so I make it work ( I have to factor in how strong I am to kit decisions , my specificity for kit selection is a bit extreme )

    Hey JP,

Genuine q here. You have very good pieces in cojos, you have 2 chest presses, 2 shoulder presses + smith, more than 2 upper back machines, 2 lat rows, Seated ham/lying ham, and with that kit you can have more than 1 exercise rotation I think.
Or it’s a personal preference too to have just 1 rotation?

Push for me tmo! My right chest popped some fibres , so I need to be super careful , so no high incline smith , as that’s basically a power move and I can’t risk that Sadly

Usually when I pick up a chest knock , the safest way for me is to actually start with a pec dec , it lets me get warm and be in total control of the movement and then second is an overhead press, it’s annoying as means a bit of a rejig again , but It is what it is when pick uk knocks , I will do the Atlantis press , I like favouring that if it’s early in the session as that grip is kinder for me , so will do

    Pec dec

    Altantis shoulder

    Granite chest

    Gym leco tricep

    Iso stuff

Hey JP, do you plan to add a second loading peg in the Atlantis shoulder?

    Hello Juan ,
IMO if cardio is affecting your weight sessions this early in the cut I would review everything. Your current volume and whether you are meeting the current recovery demands ?

Or have you introduced cardio too soon ? Or too frequently? Maybe you could do with either less frequency on cardio & less time to start .

Is all other variables covered , sleep , stress management, diet and that 100% ?

Do a full inventory on the points mentioned above and hopefully that will help the decision making here .

Hi! I think that yes, everything is spot on. Maybe I’m not recovering very well with this type of split and I started the cardio right at the start of the cut

Hi Juan, I don’t think training 3/4 times per week and doing 3 sessions of cardio is overdoing it at all! However you will need to monitor your recovery at this point. If your legs are feeling heavy then definitely take an extra rest day or have a little deload and then resume. Can we take a look at what your sessions are looking like? What sort of volume etc.

Hi! Thanks for the reply. I’m following the exact same template JP puts on IG
    Chest press x 1
    High incline x 1
    Dip x 1
    Lat pulldown x 1
    Upper back row x 1
    Machine lateral x 1
    Pushdown x 1
    Bicep curl x 1
    Ab machine x 1
    Seated ham x 1
    Leg press/hack squat x 1
    Leg extension x 1
Calf standing or seated x 1
    Everything between 8-12 reps
Rotate starting between upper body and lower body

Hey JP, did you sell your prime 2.0 pulldown? You didn’t use it too much since you get it, so I assume you don’t like it enough

Hey JP, I’m your video with Kuba you said you didn’t like diverging rows to train the upper back, now you change your opinion on upper back training with your new strive diverging row?

Hey JP, do you like the new prime pulldown 2.0? Saw you got one a little time ago, but you barely used it

Very happy with that today , recovery from 3 sleeps ago felt superb in terms of muscles , my cns fatigue feels very high , but not enough to impact ability to train hard in the session , just a zombie outside of them , So on wake a zombie , then right upto training a zombie , pre workout goes in and then en route to the gym mentally kick into what needs to be done

Single arm pec dec x 6

    Atlantis shoulder x 6

    Granite chest press x 7

    Granite tricep x 5

    Dip machine x 7

    Lateral x 5 x 4 x 7

    Lat row x 6 x 6

    Upper back row x 6 x 6

    Prime lat pull x 6 x 5

    Rear delt row x 6 x 6

    Rear delt cable x 6 x 6

    Ab crunch x 5 x 5 x 8

Notice on the tricep press , you can see reps 3-4-5 the way the forearm folds more onto the upper arm compared to the chest press , it’s subtle , but that + the profile adjustment ( which I flattened out a touch on the tricep today ) , allows for max tricep recruitment

I need to get the second loading point on my Atlantis shoulder , you can see the video , the lockout is silly , when it’s that much of a disparity from bottom to top , it’s just a shit profile , but the handles and arm path are just incredible , so that second loading arm to flatten the profile will be ideal , I had that added to the one in the shed

Legs tmo and I need to adjust the order to keep my knees happy , I’m also not warming up for an hour across 2 movements because of the loading , so will address that tmo

Hey JP, did you change the cybex pulldown for the prime lat pulldown as you think you don’t have more weight progression on the cybex?

Great lower session for me today : my knee has been giving me problems last few sessions but today I was back on track with it which was nice , still had to be careful but I’m happy

    Single leg lying ham x 6 x 6 x 6

    Leg ext x 8 x 8 x 7 x 7

    Leg press x 10 x 8 x 7 ( first set left 2 rir , second set 1 rir , 3rd set 1rir , just for safety )

Hip banded stiff leg x 6

    Granite glutinator x 6 x 7

    Hip thrust x 7 x 5

    Adductor x 7 x 7

    Bicep x 7 x 5

    Calf x 9

Just ticking along , I will try to keep this updated as much as I can but I am still extremely disconnected tbh from wanting to share , for the first time since I have ever started this stuff , I literally have just zero interest sharing anything I’m doing , and I’m forcing myself to do it . If I had my way. You wouldn’t see or hear from me in any way at all on here or IG until it was comp day and then you wouldn’t hear from me again until I compete after that , as my relationship with Instagram bodybuilding is defo coming an end , it’s defo too much for me , because I just love bodybuilding and it’s draining me so much having so much interaction with , basically fucktards

Hey JP, did you ditch the idea of the high frequency leg/pull sessions? Please still update on here 😭

Hey JP, which cybex eagle machines you currently have in cojos? Apart from the cybex abdominal, lat row and incline pulldown.

    Very incredible line from cybex

Hey JP, is there a chance that you can do a cojos gym tour for the site? As you promised to do it a while ago when the private gym was in the beginning 🙂

Jaun it’s a lat pull , bottom of the movement is a completely normal front plane pulldown , start position is slightly sagital plane .

I lift with zero active scapula retraction . The piece would actually feel shit trying to do an upper back row / pulldown on

You really like that lat pull? Looks like a very interesting piece of kit
