Hey JP, how are you planning to keep on track of your diet in oz? Also will you take any of Milos’ protocols into this prep?
-
JP hows your recovery been since that huge session, is this where the anabolics really come into their own?
-
Hey JP, whats the reason for mixing the carbs and mcts preworkout, rather than doing say a higher majority of carbs to fats or just all your energy sources from mcts?
-
Hey JP, now your pushing lifts will you be upping food to help with recovery aswell?

Being no expert but having played team sports aswell I’v found going for a moderate amount of carbs (40-50g) before the game mixed with some fat and a little bit of protein works best for me. For example some porridge, peanut butter and some whey, or eggs on toast. I always have no appetite whatsoever on game day so I make sure I have a big feed the night before with plenty of carbs then something that is easy to get down in the morning.

Thats alot of food! How was your physical and mental energy on that sort of volume of food, did you feel good on it?

How did you find working with Milos Sarcev JP, I know you pretty much did your own training but was it his decision to push you up to 300lbs to see what could happen?

Thanks for the sound advice! I’m learning and am trying to make conscious efforts to record how my body responds to training and diet variations etc , but as you say in the trenches experience is what I’m missing and can only gain through trial and error.
Just picking your brains here… what do you think of the formulas that come out of the literature which nutritionists are advised to follow. For instance 1.4-1.7g/kg bodyweight, of protein per day for strength athletes is recommended and then exceeding that will apparently only lead to excretion of the excess amount.
You have your own methods which get amazing results, and so what processes lead you to making your own conclusions on things even if it goes against the grain of what the literature might say?

Thanks for the help! I will implement those changes into my diet right away. So do you use a combination of initiative and trial and error when adjusting your macros?
