Love that mentality AJ. ‘I can’t control it, so why worry’. Focus on the variables you can control.
Seen your IG post about your first vid likely being posted on here end of the month. Looking forward to it ??

Always good catching up on this log. I’ve said it before but very relateable to me working long hours in finance but still trying to fit everything else that’s important in (family/gym)

Agree what you said about hard barbell work. It’s all I’ve got but it’s been great to get good at the basics. Don’t think we’ll ever get a time like this again to reset and be primed to grow when the gyms reopen

Having a look at the new app. New features look like they will be great when they’re up and running.

Also sound quality on the audio replies is crystal clear ????????

Rest day today so just Mortgage work for clients in the day. Nipped out for a coffee with Jess as I go a bit crazy sat in the house all day.
Off out this evening with Louis to play some pool and chill. Good to have a social life outside of the gym as keeps you grounded and in touch with reality as bodybuilding world can be a bit of a bubble away from ‘normal’ life. A lot of my close friends don’t even go to the gym never mind bodybuilders. As long as they still motivate you I don’t see any reason not to socialise with people outside of bodybuilding. As I say, broadens your mind and views.

Took me a while but just fully caught up with your logic great stuff!

Ever since i saw the video about you doing early morning workouts due to your job etc it struck a chord with me as it’s the only time I can train, (office gym, actually very decent, but high pressure job then wanting to spend the evening with the family). I’m by no means in the shape you are but it shows what. An still be achieved when you also have a very demanding, long hours job.

How do you work out your training split? Is it just 2 rotations, similar rep ranges for both?

Looks like a good starting point to me, however I’m with rich on most of the top sets bieng between 6-9 reps just to hit the muscle from a neural perspective.
Then back of sets can stay at 10 plus.

Thanks for the response? So drop the top set to under 10 reps for both rotations?

    Hi mate
Very much depends on how much you go at it
I personally would like to see your lead set drop in reps to a 6-8 rep range, but if you legitimately take the set all the way, you’ll hit those stimulating reps

Thanks for the reply, would that be to drop the lead sets to 6-8 for both rotations?

Going to start this tomorrow. Will leave as is volume wise for now as can always add in an exercise or two, recovery dependent.

Would it be best to add an extra rotation or two though?

    Cheers @squat77,

So worth trying for a few weeks, then seeing how I recover etc. If seems okay add a few more exercises?
