Never look at the elite guys and copy what they do, their genetics are so good they can pretty much train how they want and get away with it. Sloppy form will lead to injuries and poor progress for us normal folk

This is too person dependent to give a blanket answer. Peoples mechanics will ultimately decide which exercise is best for them. You could argue that the lower back loading movements would provide more density and thickness as a whole to a person’s back but without the ability to contract the muscle hard in them movements they will not be as effective as other exercises for upper back development IMO. As Jordan says “moving a weight from A to B is completely different to working a muscle”
It will be interesting seeing what everyone’s views are on this.

That amount of time inbetween reps on a deadlift in my opinion isn’t a problem, if anything it’s like a short rest pause. However if you are gassing out before you reach mechanical failure then it’s a cardiovascular/fitness problem here.

Today is rest day and the first of 3 in a row. we aimed for a 7 week stint before we scheduled a rest however kuba in particular was feeling a little beat up. the weekend away from routine seemed to take it out of us. I feel ok but I know if I pushed another week I’d be in a hole so taking the 3 days now so we all stay in sync and will just allow us to get back at things quicker. 3 out of 4/5 shows for next year have been picked
    Prague
    Amateur O london
    Romania
and 1 more and possibly stretch to a 5th if my body allows it and we haven’t done the job. I think a 5th show will be pushing it but for now that’s a definite 3. prep starts may 1st and I cant wait. until then we add as much tissue as possible

There is actually one minor drug interaction between oxazepam and the ingredients in Halcyon. See below for a summary:

    L-Theanine + oxazepam

L-theanine decreases effects of oxazepam by pharmacodynamic antagonism (compete against each other for similar pathways)
    L-Taurine + oxazepam

    No known interactions to date

    KSM-66 Ashwagandha

    No known interactions to date

    Magnesium Bisglycinate

    No known interactions to date

    Magnesium Oxide

    No known interactions to date

It wont make a difference as the guys say as long as you can get your heart rate up. I personally stay away from stairs as it sucks my legs down too much in a prep

just adding fats to meals is always a good way to get the calories up. olive oil on meals etc. apart from that simple things added at the end of meals like muffins, cookies, pop tarts that are all easy to eat and digest for most

If I believe correctly and Oxazepam is an anxiety control/ stress calming drug? then I cant see any harm in adding Halcyon with it. How do you get on with Halcyon alone without the use of Oxazepam? or do you feel like you need Oxazepam? If your use has been sporadic over the years I’m assuming you use it once stress has built up? It could be an idea to use Halcyon constantly and see if this helps first rather than just adding it in as and when things build up.

Evening all. A quick update on the stomach situation. Things have settled down and although my stomach was still tender my digestion had been back to 90% of how it was and I managed to train and eat with no issues so very happy. I’m assuming it was either something I cooked or possibly just a stomach bug. Tonight we trained a shoulder dominant push session and numbers were flying up, I felt strong and very good in general with a big pump. It’s always great to feel back on form when you have had a little set back.

    sessio tonight was

shoulder press gym shop x 2
    flat HS press x 2
    close Smith press x 2
    pec dec x 2 2nd set rp
    DB lateral x 2
    lying cuffed lateral x 2
    bicep db curl x 2
tricep ex bar push down x 3
single arm cable tricep x 1

I Think water retention is down to bf%, diet, hydration and also an individual component. However personally and what I’ve seen across the board with clients Anadrol seems to be the one to hold more water (dose dependent) and tissue wise I think it’s too difficult to tell, it depends on the person, their set up, training, rest, nutrition etc

I’ve never personally fasted however I can see many benefits. Especially as bodybuilders or people constantly eating in a surplus to grow, digestion and gut health are imperative so anything that will give it a break can only be a good thing IMO

ok so today didnt go to plan. I woke this morning to a very bloated midsection, I basically looked pregnant. I thought it may be from last nights meal as I ate and went straight to bed so I wasnt concerned I just did my cardio and waited an extra 20 mins before m1 to try and get an appetite. After m1,m2,m3 my stomach became more distended and very uncomfortable. Me being me I still drove over to Rotherham and attempted legs. I got 4 sets deep and had to call it a day as I was aggravating things too much and starting with cramps. Since then things have gone down and I’m more comfortable but I’m still swollen. I will fast from now which means missing 2 meals today which I’m fuming about but I’ve more than covered my calorie requirements from today as I did so little expenditure in the session. Not eating will allow my digestion to rest as food just worsens the problem. Hopefully tomorrow I will feel better and things have cleared. Apart from that I felt great today so it’s even more frustrating as I was ready to go IN on these 2 days of training but these things cant be helped so stressing will just make recovery more lengthy.

keep pushing and take some more fat off from here Christopher, no need to push up yet. Hilly makes a good point of sitting at maintenance for a couple of weeks before dropping into a deficit again.
