    Late one tonight guys. Trained pull with kuba and AJ tonight and a very solid session where we progressed on all lifts. got my set up slightly wrong on the tbar row and feel my loading set wasnt as good as it could of been and I pretty much just moved weight with no decent connection. we have decided to go back to the PP rest L rest split. numbers and training are flying at the minute and the extra load and reps is taking its toll on our recovery. When you reach a certain strength and ability to find intensity everytime you have to be in the gym less.

    What’s up everyone. firstly I would like to wish a happy new year to everyone. I hope you all accomplish the goals you set for 2020, make sure your goals scare you at least a little. I’m a huge advocate of making goals that seem pretty absurd, be uncomfortable in your pursuit and this is where most progress happens, we never got anywhere being comfortable.

    rested up today and pretty much sat in front of the laptop setting new clients up and amending plans for current clients after the Christmas damage Haha. Back in the office for pull tomorrow and I’m looking to hit some biiiggg numbers. I’m going to make a conscious effort to post more content on social media as I’m usually a work hard in silence kind of guy However it’s not the day and age for that and people can learn a lot from a simple video.

    push today and the session was up and down. I was tired as last night we didnt get done until late so I was up eating until gone 12. The first movement felt heavy as fuck but things got better from there in out. I’m looking forward to prep however there is still some growing to do inbetween so we keep hard at it, eating lots.

    Hey man. Alot of people are in the same boat as you and are afraid to let go of condition or push things. Its essential that we stay in a calorie surplus to be able to build muscle. You are definitely in a good position from your current condition to push food up. This doesnt have to be a drastic raise in calories but it can be very steady and this will make things less stressful an extra 50g carbs per training day and 40g rest day to start and increase from there when needed.

    Legs destroyed tonight. Legs are a strange one for me at the minute as I have a lot of niggles, I suffered a small tear at the top of my quad a few months ago so when I push weight this quivers and it’s a weird sensation, right knee pain is subsiding but a sciatic pain from the top of my right quad all the way to my mid shin is causing me the most grief. Anyway this has altered the way I’m attacking the session, still 100% intensity but higher reps with a lighter load. Fortunately my legs are genetically better than the rest of me and I find I have the ability to contract them very precise and hard no matter the load, helps me keep them where they need to be.

    tonight’s session was as follows

    power squat x 1
    Precor leg press x 1
    Atlantis sl press x 1
    leg ext x 1
    lying db ham curl x 1
    glute bridge x 1
    adductor x 1
    calves x 3

    Had a great shoulder and calves session yesterday. The pump both in shoulders and calves was unreal. Really happy how things are going in this part of reverse diet. Today morning I will do my bloodwork and everything is ok we can leave the cruise phase and start real off-season.

    yes I love prime equipment. my favourite prime machines would be the extreme row followed by their pec dec, the changing of the load points are awesome

    Get yourself back on a plan and into a deficit. large amounts of weight gained quickly from binging post diet can usually be rectified pretty fast as long as you dont mess about and hit it hard. Once you are in a better place body composition wise then start to push up v slowly. You mentioned “if I adhere” you are already questioning yourself if you will stick to the plan, make sure you are in a good place mentally and your relationship with food isn’t a bad one before you start.

    solid days rest today. plenty of sleep and still managed to be productive. waking up every morning feeling nice and full at the minute, its took a while to get here so I’m very happy. feeling very refreshed and recovery on this set up is very efficient. ready to hit legs hard tomorrow. still another 18 weeks before we start prep so every day is as perfect as we can make it to get the most out if this off season

    off season I dont think it matters really mate. at the start of your cycle as long as it doesnt hinder your appetite throw them both in or just the var. use them for a month, if you get any digestion issues or anything drop them sooner

    pull and deadlifts tonight. They moved well and I’m happy with the execution, my legs were still recovering from the other day and this made them feel heavy but we got the job done. rest of the session saw all good lifts and contractions. Digestion today was lots better and everything seems tighter. I swapped pasta for rice in my meal 2 and also upped lantus to 80iu this helped massively. Looking forward to a much needed rest day tomorrow after2 great days of training.

    The proof will be once you try it and adhere to it and then adjust accordingly. that amount doesn’t seem high to someone as heavy as yourself. once you are perfectly structured you will be surprised on the amount of food you need
