Rest day needed it today, Body is in bits. At least I know it’s working ????
Woke up and did my cardio then worked for a couple of hours this morning. Then had a hospital appointment, medication had been upped and an extra pill has been added to the mountain I have already.
Waiting for a CT scan and a GON nerve block in my head which hopefully will stop some of my headaches, but at least things are starting to get moving. May even find out what’s wrong?!
Now I’m resting at home, maybe a bath later ????

But on a serious note, I don’t think it will get that bad for gyms to shut down, if it does best of buying some dumbbells but you wouldn’t be able to get the best out of your training at home.

Woke up feeling fresh down another 1lb, checked in with Kuba this morning we will see if there’s any changes needed for this week. As I know he likes me to be ready early for shows!
Which I love !!!Trained at Ultraflex Rotherham today it was Leg day, been tired lately but managed to keep my weights up this week.
Leg Routine
Seated leg curl x3 10-13/8-10/15+
Squats x2 7-9/15+
Single leg press x3 10-12/8-10/15+
Split squats x2 10-12/15+
Lying DB curl x2 10-12/15+
Reverse hyper drop set x2 8-10/12-15
Calves x3 10-12
Rest day tomorrow it’s definitely needed!

I’ve tried both ways so pull, push, legs, off repeat. But personally I found it really hard to recover and found my lifts weren’t progressing.
I think it’s individual I train Pull/Push/off/Legs/off repeat and I find my lifts progressing and especially not I’ve started prep I need to rest so try what you’ve been advised but if you finding your more tired and lifts/strength isn’t rising then try a different approach.

Push session today, trained at Normanton good session today. Went up on all weights felt strong, but I made sure that I went to bed early last night so that I was fully rested.
Watched the Arnold’s last night and it’s lit a fire in me and I’m super excited to get onto that Pro stage this year!
It’s check in day tomorrow so excited to see if anything has changed. Food dropped a lot more last time so hopefully there’s been some movement.
Let’s find out tomorrow ????

I’d buy a cheap exercise bike and see if you could do your cardio on an evening if possible as it will be better than doing it after training.
If not do what Clare said and finish your intra before the cardio session.

I agree with Clare, I need my rest between legs I try and have a rest day before and after legs.
Sometimes I don’t have the flexibility to do that because of work if that’s the case I make sure I do:
Pull
Push
Legs
Off
RepeatBut try not to do that often but I get work gets in the way sometimes

It was Pull day struggled with the lifts today, which always annoys me when I want to hit a certain weight!
Deadlifts was hard didn’t manage the weight I did last week on my top set but matched all the rest of the weights.
Sometimes those are the days you struggle but I just have to know that I have to keep going!Finished of the session felt defeated but went up on all back exercises, so I’ve got to look on the bright side!
Exercises today was;
Deadlifts x3 8-10/5-7/12-15
Hip thrusts x3 10-12/8-10/15+
Paused Sumo squats x3 8-10/10-12/20+
Single arm row x2 10-12/15+
Prime pull down x3 8-10/10-12/15+
Single arm muscle round x6x4
Preacher bicep curl x2 10-12/12-15
Push session tomorrow hopefully it goes better than today’s!!

Hey brother here I would opt for a push pull leg split it will go down much better and will see you benefit more than upper lower … upper lower is for total beginners imo
4 day split is perfect it’s pretty much how I train_________________________________________

Completely with Kuba, I’ve found a massive difference in my strength when switching to Push Pull Legs!
You can recover in between as your not training the same muscle twice. Look on the videos to find a good programme have fun

Hi,
I’d prefer to try and get my forearms strong from lifting, rather than using extra equipment.
I do use them for bicep curls and I feel the squeeze more but apart from that I’d prefer to do it on my own.

Hi John,
Sorry to hear that! I’ve been ill while on prep and not wanted to eat in the slightest but when I was feeling better I just made sure that I just ate what was on my plan and remembered why I was doing it.
Sometimes you don’t feel like eating the food on your diet but if you want to achieve your goals then you have to.
Think about why??Why you doing it? What’s the reason for it?
Might help you to get back on plan!
