Skipping is great cardio if you can keep it up for a while, best to it like Tabatta training so 20secs on 20secs off.
If your wanting to cut down though without losing to much muscle I’d just suggest doing a faster power walk on a morning ????

Another training day for me!! Today was push,
– Cable machine lateral raise
– High incline bar press
– DB incline chest press
– DB chest flys
– Tricep dips
– Lateral raise DBs
– Cable upright row
– Tricep pull downsLucky I can still do my normal routine just with a slight variation as I only have cables and DBs.
Got my 20,000 steps in already, I have made a packed with myself that I can’t sit down until I have done all my checklists which seems to be keeping me occupied!!
I will be doing a core and HIIT plan on my Instagram later tonight so that people without equipment can still do a workout…

Hi, I would try and stay on maintenance calories so no muscle tissue is lost, but sometimes rest is good as long as your keeping your steps up.

I feel like I’m in another world but today has been such a busy day for me, I haven’t stopped!
As I have said I’m very lucky and still able to stick to my normal routine, cardio and steps apart from not being able to work.
It was Pull day for me, went up on my heavy lifts but because of where I’m training I just had to adapt some exercises but the main ones can stay the same.
Things are changing on my diet so I just need to see what they are hopefully this evening.

So it was Check in today, still waiting to hear from Kuba to see if there’s any changes needed! So I’ll update the log by tomorrow.
Rest day today, made sure I’ve kept myself busy and productive.
Cardio 30mins this morning, had a few clients this morning as well and had a lovely chat with Carly and Kerry on their Healthy Minds podcast talking about my Epilepsy and competing.
Currently out for a walk so I can clear my mind and to destress I cleaned my house!

I agree with Meg and Clare try and stick to maintenance calories that way if you do extra cardio or workout your not going to burn of too many calories than if your on rest day

What is the world coming to?
Seems like it’s turned into a Zombie apocalypse!!
It’s check in day tomorrow and I’m trying to keep some normality to my day, so I made sure I’m still ticking the boxes as best as I can…
30mins of Cardio done this morning, was able to come to my gym to train. I am very lucky and I have my own studio only a 20mins walk from me which I can still use ????
For all of my steps in and made sure that all of my clients feel safe and ready to take on this challenge together.

I would just make sure your keeping your heart rate up, as Michael said do what you like so you are enjoying doing it rather than it being a chore.

I bet everyone has woke up this morning not knowing what to do with themselves…
Training for a lot of people including myself brings them peace and helps them with there mental state. I think that we all need to come together through this and still be active within our daily lives.
I am very lucky to have my own studio where I have enough equipment to be able to train as normal! I trained Legs day, but after having my seizure on Wednesday evening had to train at 80%.
Session went really well and ready to train again tomorrow, I’m hoping that things can go back to normal ASAP, but this is unknown so I will make sure I keep up to my prep and keep on schedule.

Today has possibly been the worst day for people who train, but we have to stay positive.
I am sticking with my diet and prep plans until I won’t be able to do it no more, today has been a hard day for me. After having a bad seizure Wednesday evening I have had to be of plan as I’ve been in bed all day and had to eat what I could. (Which hasn’t been a lot)
I woke up to the news that the gyms were being closed which might effect my business. I know this is going on around the world so we all need to pull together and try to be positive as much as possible.

I can’t drink tea for some reason it really repeats on me so I tend to go for a black coffee although I do love a peppermint tea amazing for digestion

That sounds painful, I’d go get that checked by a physiotherapist you might have done something to the muscle

So last night I had a really bad seizure and ended up in hospital.
I had a Tonic Clonic seizure which basically means that I lose consciousness and fit. I never remember what is going on, my partner unfortunately had to do CPR (again) which has made my chest super sore!
But look on the being side, I’m still alive and here, I managed to get out of hospital this afternoon, had a day of food as after a seizure you are shattered so I literally been sleeping all day. I’ve eaten what I can but hopefully I will feel loads better tomorrow.
Sometimes it can’t take a few days to get better so I’m also taking tomorrow of from training and getting back into the gym on Saturday. I have to deal with this daily so I make sure I keep my spirts up and do what I can do.
But tomorrow’s another day…

It’s been rest day today, my hospital appointment was cancelled due to the madness that is going on in the world.
But I’ve been quite busy with clients this morning and decided I’m bring equipment home so that if anything happens I can still train.
Made sure work and house is 100% clean my OCD is out of control but I suppose it helps in times like this! ????
