Hilly’s Guide to Eating With IBS
Hi Guys,
so I wont go into loads of detail about myself and my experience/qualifications etc as that is under my Bio on here so check that out ????
So a little bit of history about myself and then plans for the future.
I havnt spent much time pre 2018 focusing on my own physique for a few reasons. One is that 5-6 years ago I suffered a major tear to my right pectoral major that left just 10% attached. This means I cant train that right pec at all and makes anything wide grip or push down focused impossible. Still after this I competed 4-5 years ago doing the nabba class 1 (as im just 1cm into that height class) and then the Mr U90kg at the body power. I was seriously outsized at both.
So plans were to push hard for size until I was then informed I have a break in my L5 Sp and 2 slipped disc’s at L4 and L5.
On top of this for years I have been dealing with a severe slow Gastric intestinal tract due to the ‘grinder’ part of my stomach not working as it should. This means it takes my GIT at least twice as long to break down and move food through stomach/intestines etc. Due to this I have to avoid anything hard to digest such as dairy, gluten and foods high in fat or fibre. Making it difficult to put away a lot of food.
SO as you can imagine taking all this into consideration I decided to forget about my own physique and focus on helping others through my business http://www.physique-enhancement.co.uk as well as progress my work for the NHS. Here I work with children with eating disorders designing menu;s, doing therapy work and education around food etc.
However this past year, with the classic class now an option I decided to have a good at competing again. I placed 4th at the PCA NE and didn’t make top 6 at the finals but made some pretty dam good improvements in-between. I’ve also done a lot of work over the past 18 months on really utilising my improved knowledge with foods and digestion to find a way of getting in more and more food and maximising my digestion. I have also spent a lot of time reading up on different training approaches, theories, techniques and programming to find ways of maximising hypertrophy while working around my injuries.
To do this I have come up with Something I called the FOUR’s technique that I utilise within a lower volume, higher frequency HIT approach and as you can see from the below pictures and my instagram/web site so far it has had some pretty dam good results.
So from here I plan to try and use my knowledge and experience and see how far I can push my physique and have a crack at the Mr class 2 as it seems ive shrank a little in 2019.
so im currently weeks into my rebound from the PCA finals were I stepped on stage at 197 and as of this Friday coming I should be around 217-219 in pretty dam good condition.
I will log on here my diet and training going forward as well as a a brief description of what I have done this past 5 weeks.
IN TERMS OF AAS. Obviously working for the NHS I don’t use myself but I am very well read and educated on them and have a lot of experience working/assisting others with them from my clients to Jordan Peters himself when I prepped him for the Nabba Universe in 2014 and the fact we met and became so close through our readings on AAS/peptides and nutrition/training.
So I will include these AS IF I was running them so members here can see how I would lay this out and rough dosages I would recommend if one was wanting to really push things to a new level in a short period of time.
Ill also cover my blood work, health supplements and daily diet so people can see how I work my diet around my stomach issues as well as training around my injuries as I feel this all may be very useful._________________________________________
