Hey guys … so I think I got a mini bug or something the last couple of days and it’s really wiped me out. Managed to still eat and hoping I haven’t lost any weight. But will see tomorrow. Anyway I tried to drive on and do my push session as planned yesterday. Did my cuff laterals then moved on to high incline smith press and could not barely lift. I was 30kg off of my log book and really didn’t feel great. So I knew this wasn’t anything to worry about. It’s just me feeling ill. But me being me I didn’t leave I just plowed on with the session and didn’t bother logging. I upped volume a bit as not to let me weakness get into my head and really focused on execution and squeezing. Ended up getting a good pump and I’ve wole up with some serious doms in my chest. So it definitely wasn’t a waste of a session. Today I’m feeling slightly better. Not 100% but definitely better so I’ll try and log today’s pull session and keep you updated guys.

My life’s pretty hectic at the min. Being December and coming close to xmas with a business to run and 2 young children. I feel like I’m literally non stop. I’m not complaining but just telling you guys that it’s hard to juggle everything at once sometimes. We’re managing and that’s the main thing. Let’s see how we are tomorrow on the scales. I’ll get some pics too and update u on here with them. Thanks guys.

Remember feel free to ask me anything guys. Always happy to chat and talk life as an amateur aspiring to become pro living a normal life.

Hey guys! Greetings from Amsterdam! So yesterday was a long day of travelling, we flew from Luton airport at 6.35am so we were on the road at 3am. Got to Amsterdam bags in and went out exploring. Clocked 18,000 steps on a rest day so yeah not much of a rest but I made up for it with a few pancakes and waffles. Whoops but i used the analogy that they’ll fuel this mornings leg session…

Found a gym called train more which is a 10 min walk from my hotel so a no brainer. Got there and it’s an old bank so the decor and lay out is pretty cool, definitely not a bodybuilder gym but you have to do what you have to do when abroad. Tried to keep the structure of my session as close to how it should be but there was no hack squat, pendulum or v squat. Anyway swapped my first 2 for leg press and smith machine squat

Lower back is so sore from Wednesday pull session so wasn’t confident with squats as I left my belt in the room. Travel all the way from uk with it. Then leave it in the hotel! So dumb.

    Kept compounds quad focused
    Leg press low and close stance – 8 plates a side -12, 7 plates a side – 15
Smith machine squat – 2 plates 10, 2 plates 10 into drop set 15 (added a little volume due to less weight)
    Single leg leg press (selector) – 100kg – 10 80kg – 15
    Single seated leg curl – 40kg – 8 reps, 25kg – 15
    Hypers – 30kg – 12, bw – 17
    Adductors – 70kg – 23
Upper back machine row – stack – rest pause 13-6-5
    Db Bicep curl – seated – 16kg 10 reps into drop 8kg – 15 reps
Leg press for calf raises rest pause 15-8-4

Now I’ve gotta try and not eat too much crap as I looked watery as hell today from last night. Pray for me haha

    Today’s pull
    Underhand grip pull down – 122kg- 5, 104kg- 11
Mag grip on bench pull down – 82kg-10, 68kg-15
    Chest supported machine row – stack-10, 85.5kg-15
Rack pulls, last rack session I dropped to 220 and got 7 so wanted to try 230 again today and got 4 clean reps as opposed to the session before I dropped weight I got 5 terrible reps I’m happy I’ve improved here. Set 2- 190kg-10
    Rear delt mag grip row – 47.5kg-12, 41kg-12, 41kg-12
    Cable curl – 22.5kg 3×12

Today’s session I beat nearly all my numbers so I’m really happy with how I’m going considering I’m on a cruise and really not at 100% with my hernia. I’ve posted my current condition and happy with that also. Let’s hope Amsterdam doesn’t do me in! Haha.

Hey guys. Sorry for the radio silence. Been a crazy couple of days with work and organising a trip away with the better half tomorrow haha. Last minute.com. We’re off to Amsterdam to have 2 nights away from the mad house. Lol. I’ll be training legs on Friday and prepped a days worth of meals and will wing the rest. Been doing this long enough to know how best to stay on track away … that being said, it is off season and I’m in a good place so we will have some meals off for sure. Steps are always super high and training legs out there I can’t see it being an issue.

Anyway double training. Yesterday’s push session and today’s pull

Push wasn’t the best to be honest. I had a busy day and eat my pre workout meal before travelling to Nottingham to visit chris baileys new studio which is looking like it’s going to be something special by the way so was meant to be a flying visit but it never is so went to m10 and hit the session just lacked a bit of endurance on a few exercises falling short on reps.

@leodog thanks Mate. I really don’t feel they’re that great but right now I feel the connection to them while training has vastly improved as we’ve prioritised them. I begin push with cuff laterals then move into presses I feel that really primes the delt for a big session as it helps to connect with it mentally

Hey guys. Another good session yesterday apart from my t bar row set… didn’t get the foot position correct and stupidly went ahead with the set. Ended up pulling 6 rubbish reps out and then did it again after a little rest and was obviously fatigued so again didn’t get great reps out. It’s still on my Instagram story if you are interested to see.

    Underhand grip pull down – stack 5 reps, 104 – 11
    Mag grip on bench pull down – 77kg 10, 68kg 14
    Chest supported row machine – stack – 10, 85.5 – 15
T bar row – 6.5 plates 6 and again for 6 (as explained above) dropped to 5 plates and got a perfect – 13 reps
    Rear delt mag grip row – 47.5 – 3×12
    Incline dumbbell curl – 10kg 3×15

Just updated my Instagram with a couple of today’s check in photos sent to jordan too. He’s v happy so we keep everything as it is.

Anything you guys are interested in just let me know… I know I’m not as impressive as some of the guys here but I do feel I have a different dynamic being men’s physique, running a business and having 2 young kids so it doesn’t have to be bodybuilding related I really will answer anything you guys possibly might relate too.

@clare your right I know. But I’m like a little kid who needs telling ! Haha. Yeah I’m really hoping It helps with everything as obviously a weakness is holding me back from progressing in and out the gym. A stronger abdominal will help on stage too I guess.

Yeah I’m really hoping the forced rest helps like you say! Thanks for the message mate. By the way congrats again on an awesome season! Amazing how u continue to improve. Gonna call you Mrs consistent!! ????????❤️
