It definitely works and can be a good way of dropping body fat. I prefer to have low carb rest days which effectively is a carb cycle In some respects. Try the carb cycle if you like it go with it. I see jordan’s food is cycled depending on the body part he trains based on the demand for carbs/calories so maybe try that.

I think kuba nailed it. Anything that can trigger over eating is a no no. Have them if you can control the amount you eat and they fit within your calorie/macro limit

Hey guys!! So the day has finally come !!! I’ve been cruising since October last year, after speaking with jordan it’s time to blast and grow !! We’ve decided to keep food where it is. It’s high and I’m still struggling to get it all in so it’s a ramp up in drugs to compliment an already high kcal diet. We are going to start with 400 test, 400 tren, 700 npp! I’m also keeping the 2iu gh am and pm. This is the first time I’ve ever blasted. And first time I’ve ever used tren in an off season. So I’m very excited. I will be getting bloods done mid cycle to check everything’s ok. And I’ll be donating blood regularly too. I’ll add my current diet (well what I’m trying to get in) – when I say trying I’m getting the calories in but just having to substitute some meals for easier kcals.

    Training day

    Meal 1 – 150g extra lean beef, 3 eggs, 6 whites – veggies

    Meal 2 – pre workout – 100g cof, 40g protein from iso, 50g blueberries

Intra – 3 scoops mps max, 1 scoop sustain.

Pwo – 40g protein from iso, 7g creatine monohydrate

    Meal 3 – pwo – 100g basmati rice, 200g extra lean beef, peas, 1 and a half bagel, 35g jam, 120g cereal

    Meal 4 – 100g oats, 40g protein from isolate, 100g blueberries

    Meal 5 – 150g sweet potato, 200g chicken

    Meal 6 – 200g chicken, veggies

    Meal 7 – 200g 0% fat yogurt, 20g protein from iso

I’ll also be restocking all health supps

    My morning ritual is

    Multivitamin

    Ashwagahnda

    Citrus bergamot

    Tudca

    Omega 3 fish oil

    Solgar 7 joint care

    Vitamin k2, d3
    Boswellia

    Liposomal curcummin

    Liposomal coq10

    Liposomal glutathione

    Kidney and blood pressure stack

    Pre bed sleep stack too

Just finished a pull session guys. I’ll write it out below and there’s a few snaps on my Instagram story. Had to cut my pwo meal short today too. My stomach feels terrible. Not sure what’s going on but I need to get back to eating all my meals again. Since surgery I’ve massively under eaten. I’ll try and finish my food today but I can’t force it when I feel like this.

Front underhand pull down- 1×5 1×12
    Chest supported row – 1×5 1×12
    Db row – 1×7, 1×15
    Machine low row – 1×12 1×6
    Lat pull down – 3×15
Prone rear delt db raise – 3×12
    Seated machine shrug – 3×12
    Cable curl – 2×15

I think a low machine row where your trying to shorten the lat is a great exercise pulling the elbow down towards your hip. It’s on my video on the site using a cable row.

Large meal before bed then load up post workout man! If you are on holiday and wanting to train minimal amount of times I don’t think the focus should be on Intra drinks. Focus on the workout and pre and post. That will be plenty enough until your back home and into a routine

Also jordan doesn’t want me to log book yet so I’m just training hard but without trying to beat my previous sessions. I remembered some weights and purposely didn’t push to those numbers today.

Hey guys!! Hope everyone’s having a good start to the week and all had a good weekend. Just wrapped up an awesome push session. At gym unity burton. Still easing my way in to sessions but definitely starting to feel confident in pushing myself in my push sessions especially. Spoke to jordan about the new system he’s been trialling but we’ve agreed I won’t be ready to recover from that yet so we’re sticking to the 2 working sets. One load. One back off. For legs I’ll make each back off a minimum of 20 reps as I just feel that so much more. So I’ll load usually 5-7 reps. Then back off to 20 plus. Anyway today’s push session…
    Low incline hammer strength press – 4 plates a side – 5, 3 plates – 12
    High incline chest machine press – 4 plates a side – 6, 3 plates – 12
    Hammer strength shoulder press – 3 plates – 7, 2 plates – 12
    Pec Dec – 3×15
    Lying crucifix laterals- 3×15
    Lateral raise machine – 3×15
    Tricep dip machine – 5 plates a side – 12, 6 plates a side – 5
Single arm cable push down – 2×12

Majority is on my Instagram story guys if you want to see how it went. @haider_m

Was your hernia giving you a lot of discomfort before the op? You seem to be taking the recovery very sensibly and not pushing yourself. Must be so hard mentally to not want to push yourself.

I have one myself but no discomfort. Doctor said it’s not big enough yet to be fixed so just a waiting game. It’s only gonna get worse so I’m just carrying on as normal as there’s no pain.

It was quite bad yes. I couldn’t do anything without it popping out which would mean I’d have to put it back in. Lol. Also I would get sharp pains and aches after heavy leg or pull sessions. It was about the size of a golf ball.

Yeah it’s really hard mentally but my goal is to compete this year and battle for my pro card which means rushing just isn’t an option. I’ve really made leaps and bounds in recovery the last week so I’m very happy. I still can’t pull anything heavy or leg press heavy. But I’m not too fussed. Stimulus from high volume lighter work is still amazing and more than enough.

Yeah that’s the thing mate. It’ll get worse if you continue to train hard so as you say it’s a matter of when. Just don’t think about it and keep killing every workout. If you take care and put measures in place to speed up recovery you could be back as fast as I am. 3 weeks and I’m back pretty much. Just adapting workouts to what I can manage.

I would personally favour a spin bike over a normal recumbent bike as they can also be used for sprints too and the feel is much more like a real bike. Schwinn is a good make. But tbh they are simple bits of kit I’d try and get a re conditioned one from eBay

Not sure if it was too soon for this but I did it and go through it. Feels tender down there for sure but wow. What a pump. The pain is insane. The goal of trying to get stronger is still there but now it’s coupled with trying to make each exercise as minging as possible and in a higher rep range. So will start log booking again and just trying to make every session as painful in the my legs as possible. What a pump. Best I’ve ever felt in my legs. Much more of a connection than the low rep heavy stuff.

Did 3×15 ham curls, 1×10 paused low and close feet hacks, 3×30 leg press Then 3 sets of 20 short stride walking lunges. 3×20 leg extension Then 3×20 hypers. 1×40, 2×30 adductors, 3×20 calf raises
