    Sorry to echo the boys but they’re spot on. Cream of rice is a great one for density – good amount of carbs for not too much volume of food.

    So guys that’s day 3 wrapped up and I couldn’t be happier with how it went. The team is unbelievable. I actually have so much time for everyone ! They are some of the kindest most genuine guys I know and I’m so happy and proud to be on the team. I had a rest day today in preparation for my filming day and my first density day tomorrow. Although I do not feel at all rested!! Bodypower has well and truly kicked my ass!! If I hadn’t have scheduled filming for tomorrow I’d more than likely take another rest day and go again Tuesday. But it is what it is so let’s see what we can do and hope for the best haha. I had my weekly off plan meal yesterday and had some desert – cookies ! And today I’ve got a doughnotts!! If u know you know! Now I’d never ever have 2 days consecutive eating crap but can I really not have one of these ? It is off season after all… and I’m so tired ! I think I need it ! Hahaha. Anyway good night everyone and I hope everyone who went to bodypower had an amazing tome.

    Thanks for the replies guys. So with your approach does that mean you wouldn’t count the carbs from the nuts either?

    I wouldn’t count them towards my macros but of course the calories they make up can’t be ignored.

    Awesome day 2 at bodypower guys. The stand was so busy and so so interactive. TrainedByJP is literally loved by so many. Everyone knows what the brand is about and I’ve met some really cool people. Can’t wait for the final day tomorrow.

    I don’t think it needs to be dropped if you are keeping on top of hydration and you feel ok. Not being backed up and bloated is important pre comp imo

    Try to train before iftar and prioritise recovery with food there after. Stick to your Macros but just make sure you are hitting your numbers and digestion isn’t too stressed. It’s not easy but you can definitely do it. I am always of the notion with clients that Ramadan is the month we do what we can to maintain – keep strength. Keep muscle. Don’t add body fat. After the holy month the progression towards the goal continues. Of course you can still progress while fasting but my opinion is why make a hard month even harder.

    Always best raw imo. You can still batch cook. Weigh for example your portions of meat – 3x200g chicken = 600g cook together. Weigh when cooked and divide by 3.

    So guys !! Today was the first day of bodypower and I’m just in bed and only just getting round to filling my log. Awesome day chatting and meeting everyone. Bodypower has changed a lot. So good to see everyone taking an interest into prepare and the other supps from the TrainedByJPnutrition range. Hopefully can meet some more of you guys from the site tomorrow and Sunday. So today was pull day and I was feeling uneasy about a change in routine but turns out it wasn’t so bad at all tbh. I had a good day I was tired before training after being on my feet all day so 2 scoops of prepare and we hit dinos old school gym for pull. James and mark trainee push at the same time 2 huge guys shredded and close to shows although they stayed covered up we all know how crazy they look. So that in itself was v motivating. Good vibe and atmosphere in the gym and not too busy. Looking forward to delts and triceps tomorrow.

    Well I believe in “dirty” compounds because I’ve had labs that gave me horrible pimples on my back, but other labs not a single pimple

    I don’t think that’s due to it being dirty. Pimples are usually from a hormonal shift.

    You need to find the exercises you connect with the best. The movements you feel give your chest the most stimulation. Find these then aim to go progress your log book and get really strong.

    Hey guys. Rest day today for me and again I don’t feel great. Had a good treatment and some acupuncture work on my glutes and hamstrings so that could be a reason I feel trashed today too. After speaking to jordan we’ve decided to get bloods done earlier and see what’s what. So I’m booked in for Tuesday now and will decide on what’s what from there. Bodypower tomorrow and I’m already getting anxious about having to train at an unusual time – which means meals being moved and a likeliness that gyms will be packed and a struggle to use equipment. All adding to my anxiousness. lol. Hope to see you guys there and have a chat about anything and everything.

    I love my routine too Haider.. throws me off when I have to rearrange meals, train on unplanned days or at a different time. I have to plan everything and write it all down days in advance to get my head around it. We’re going to have a fab weekend though and it won’t ruin everything having to be a little off schedule for a couple of days, so just go with the flow and you’ll be fine ???? … Hey I’m the one who’s 4 weeks out ..haha!

    Oh I’m so glad someone’s feeling the same as me. I’m so set with my routine of eating and training this will be hard hopefully we can get a decent session in regardless that’s the main thing. You training tomorrow? Jesus I forgot. 4 weeks out id have a melt down I think. Haha. No your right it’ll be worth it. I’m really looking forward to catching up with everyone . Lol.
