Hey guys so another rest day today and the last one to make sure I can slot back in to training and set rest days without doing anything stupid like 4 days straight training when I’m tired and fasting and dieting. So it’s decided between me and cal today. Rest. Then legs tomorrow, push and pull Friday, Saturday and rest Sunday then back into regular routine Monday again. Looking forward to getting back to training although I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy the time off and I defo feel tighter too so that’s a bonus.

I think kuba nailed it. Don’t eat like a dick and you’ll be fine. Also just because it’s off plan it doesn’t mean it has to be shit food.

Another rest day today I decided on. I thought just stick to the rest I felt tired. Sluggish waking up. Headache all day. Didn’t feel how I thought I would so thought it’s best to just rest. Maintained my routine with work and steps then chill and in for cardio. Not looking to deep into how I feel today just think it was sleep wasn’t great and I had to wake up a bit earlier than I have been due to having an in person Pt session. So my predicament now is training tomorrow should be legs then a rest day after but I can’t do that after 3 days off. So will maybe just go legs push pull rest Saturday or do a one off 4 days consecutive. Legs push pull delts and arms. We will see.

Rest day today felt good and needed. Boxed everything off easily today. Felt full of energy from yesterdays high day and off plan but this is where you have to be wise enough not to fall for that energy and just go and train. Because I know I’m not out the fatigue hole yet due to falling asleep randomly on the sofa earlier that literally never ever happens either. So will go tomorrow and assess the situation again and go from there. Told cal how I’m feeling and he said ye let’s have a look tomorrow so will autoregulate and go from there

Are the visuals correlating with the scales ?
I check in with myself every Tuesday, so will see the outcome tomorrow

Rest day today and a high carb/off plan feed day.
Cardio reduced to 30 mins and steps to 8k for these 3 days so actioned that today.
Hard eating enough tonight. But I forced it in even though it doesn’t feel good I know I’ll be glad tomorrow and the day after with having that added glycogen to fill me out and hold my look and feeling for a few days. Actually looking forward to the rest and that’s when you know i need it as I defo don’t usually look forward to having extended days off training.

I’d always advise pushing on for a week or so but if appetite doesn’t improve then we have to go at it with some aggression and try and pull 10-15lbs off quick time like kuba said. Resensitise and get hunger back and improve digestion and start point to grow from again.

Not good today guys. Felt smashed. Digestion off. Dry mouth. Demotivated. Ready for a rest so will run 3 days off from tomorrow. Time to chill and i definitely need it. Hit Ramadan without a single change to food, training and cardio. I’ve took progression in almost every session. Even today I’m a rep up on my rdl 200×7 isn’t bad. I lowered volume a little today so not to kill mysslf when feeling like this but still wanting to train and train hard. So I’ll keep u updated how the next few days go.

Push was so good again !! Really happy with it! Big numbers across the board and big pumps too. Felt awesome. I feel smashed still but performance is not going anywhere. So I defo know I need to back off before that starts regressing so will chat to cal tomorrow. Dig one last day then rest for a few. Pull tomorrow. Felt a slight niggle in my back so hopefully nothing serious and can get my Rdls in as I’d love to take a rep win there tomorrow. We will see. Body shaping up nicely this week and each day looking forward to the next to see what’s happening

Thanks to all of you for the comments. Actually I’m not in a deficit phase atm but as Sasan said the demand for the movement is high and right after the main compounds it takes a lot also mentally going into the sets. Will give a run to the SL press, also the split press if I understand correctly is what I call a b-stance, is that correct?

Hey Rich, thanks for inquiring, very kind. I did switch to SL press. Right after my main compounds, hack and leg press. For this SL press I use a lower foot position as to increase knee flexion and differentiate stimulus vs the bilateral press. Loved it. No need to worry about managing heavy db or stability, just a focus on a clean movement throughout with emphasis on muscle contraction. Did two sets today, but they are kind of exhausting at end of workout. Will probably drop to 1 set aiming at 10-12 reps[/quote]

So tired today. Another crappy sleep. Tried to sleep in but the youngest woke me up and couldn’t get back to sleep. Went out got 7k steps in and sat at the laptop all day doing check ins and new starts and then catching up with clients. As you guys know rest days are my busy work days which I use to just catch up with everyone. So iftar at 6.32 ish. I make my meal 1 and 2 together and have them at iftar and now I’m out the house and onto my daily 45 mins stairmaster.
Days are hard. Nights are long. But it’s all part of the experience of this month. Yes granted I’m making it a bit more difficult with dieting and prep but that’s just the way it is and I don’t like easy 😂.
Will try and get out for a shisha with the wife tonight to just break the monotony a little so hopefully she’s not too tired or I’ll stay in and mong out lol. Although I’ll have a couple thousand steps to do apart from that a tiny bit work to finish and eat and sleep ready for a big day and a push session tomorrow.
