I’m in agreement with everyone else here. Don’t rush the process and keep rate of gain to 0.5kg a week or below to make sure you are gaining quality

Forced the routine today. Didn’t come easy at all. But I got it done. Still feeling shit. Unwell. Beat up. Heads all up my arse. Feeling down. Not good at all. But such is life. Ups and downs. Had my downs and waiting and working for the ups. So let’s see how this week goes. Good push session. Followed bobs workout. Didn’t particularly enjoy it loads if I’m honest incline barbell for the first press but I did it and wasn’t too bad. 140’for 6 shaky reps lol. Tomorrow I’ll force it again if it needs forcing but hopefully it’s easier than today. Pull session is on

Better today. But not amazing and nowhere near how I want to feel. I did some cardio today and pushed on that front. I needed to do a bit more to help keep my mind at ease.
Work was a busy one today. So wasn’t all bad being at home most of the day. Sunday evening dinner at home with the family and tomorrow we’re praying to be back locked in like previous Mondays. 🙏🏽

So guys today I started to feel a bit rubbish again. Less energy and more fatigue. Digestion off too. But.. I got it in regardless. I needed to because of the day out we had planned so it’s a good job it’s done.
Will try legs tomorrow after not training them this week so far with being unwell and my football related injury

Back in the gym today after feeling. Token from football. Surprisingly I’m recovering fast from the football issues and adductor and toe are feeling much better very quickly so I’m super happy about that.
Shoulder focus push with Bob today and I really enjoyed it was hard but really good to get a hard session in and push after 5 days of pretty much 0 lifting. Early one tomorrow for pull so looking forward to that with Bob too

I’m with Meg here. Health ROL is 0.5 and max 1kg a week which imo you wouldn’t want for consecutive weeks

And like a broken record another day of feeling run down and shit. So didn’t train again. Was difficult just getting a few thousand steps and some light 20 min cardio in. That being said. Me being me. I committed to playing football tonight and I went and got it done and Damn it was hard. Not ideal. I was slightly dizzy. Massively out of practice. 15 years + out of practice to be precise im hurting everywhere I was heavy and pretty immobile but…. Not as bad as I thought I’d be. However I’m sitting here now with a pulled sore adductor and a very sore big toe. Lol. Not great. So let’s see how this week goes. I really want to get back in the gym hitting some hard training tomorrow. Pray for me 🙏🏽

Another day not feeling great. Not terrible. But defo not good enough to train. So rested again. Did cardio though and minimal steps which felt ok. But really I just feel weak and unwell. It’s defo run down because lymph glands in my groin are swollen and painful so until that goes I won’t be pushing myself hard at all. Let’s see how i am tomorrow because I’m meant to be playing football tomorrow which I haven’t for years and I really don’t want to miss that.

I think you’ll find most bodybuilders don’t have high fat in their diet. As Marc said above. Slightly higher on rest days and of course essential fats like omegas don’t change yaar round.

Woke up feeling really run down today. Not good at all. I didn’t feel 100% yesterday even though I felt better than I did the day before and smashing the gym and cardio I think was probably too much too soon as today I have felt crap, headache, sore throat, sicky feeling. I think what may have added to how I feel today was the massage I got. Was one of the most brutal I’ve had and it absolutely ruined me. Bruises and so much pain that I think that was the nail in the coffin so to speak with my cns just not ready for everything I threw at it. Praying for a better day tomorrow 🙏🏽

If it’s really ‘alot’ of fat I don’t think a recomposition is going to work. You need to diet and get lean before pushing up.
