I started upper, lower, rest, repeat, earlier in the year after usually doing a more common ‘bro’ split and its working well.
I mainly wanted to improve my legs this year.

Ive swapped from a typical ‘bro’ split a few months ago to upper, legs, rest, repeat.
Was determined to improve legs this year and its going pretty good.

I had one out of the blue a few months ago, totally fucked the session for me, legs!!
I looked into it and as Ryan mentioned, breathing incorrectly can have an effect.
When i thought back to the episode i was convinced i was breathing incorrectly. Ive since taken far more notice of my breathing on all exercises and ive not experienced anything like that since.

Ive switched form pink to the original Lo Salt due to its higher % potassium to sodium ratio.
Ive mixed it in with some pink salt in my shaker, so its approx 80% Lo and 20 pink.

    800mg pre bed

Jeez, that’s a lot, wasn’t expecting such a high dosage!?
I’ve read it’s more absorbed combined with omega 3 DHA and EPA?

Ive always been of the understanding, that the one time you would’nt want it is in the post carb fest!
If youve had a hard session then glut4 and mtor should be activated anyway?

you know when you do a mammoth food prep…and then one of the tubs falls to the floor…and it opens…there is that moment of ARGHHHHHHHHHHH, gotta re make that…then theres that moment of, nobody will judge me for just putting that back into the tub…

    don’t pretend that you haven’t done that….!

im not condoning it…but equally im not saying that MEALONTHEFLOORNOWBACKINTHETUBFOREATING didn’t just happen

Well just this week, im in the kitchen making my pre bed meal, and im over the sink bowl with a half eaten 500g tub of Greek yoghurt just pouring the excess liqiud out of it and a big fook off dolop drops out and into the bowl, which just had a tniy bit of leftover water and washing up liquid in it.
Yep, scooped it back in, added the blue berries, nuts and chia seeds and got on with it!!
Have just mixed it straight in since!! 🙂

Graham but is it as tasty! Fage is expensive I will admit

Well im presently getting through a 500g tub a day of the Asda/Aldi in two servings, with blue berries and nuts mixed into it, and god do i look forward to it!
Ive just travelled back from London and grabbed a tub of Fage for on the train and it wasnt as good to be honest!!

Ive been sourcing my Greek Youghurt from Aldi and Asda, both their own range, full fat or fat free in 500g tubs. Its a shed load cheaper.
Ive just tried Morrisons own label dark chocalate at 85% cocoa but fook me its bitter!! 🙁

Im usually straight home from the gym so post feed isnt an issue, but on the odd ocassion im not i take my post feed with me and have it in the gym.
Toasted bagel with jam wrapped in foil. Bowl of rice kripies/bubbles!!:) with a carton of almond milk which have a screw top so no carriage issues, dont forget the spoon! A shaker of whey mixed with water from the gym shit house tap.
    Whats stoping you doing that!?

Well im 52 and im still training as heavy and as hard as possible!
Ive dropped a few disciplines that have been nailed on in the past. I dont free bar squat in the rack anymore. I dont do pull ups. I can live without those although it irks me a little bit to omit them!
Im deadlifting, heavy rows of all kinds, heavy pressing variations. I dont flat bench barbell press, havent done that in years as I beleive it puts too much strain on the shoulders. I barbell press inclined, dumbell press flat incline and decline, plus plate loaded machines for all those.
some days I’ll be in the 5 rep range, others im in 12 to 15.
I warm up meticlously concentrating on shoulder warm up when doing any uppper work. If im pressing I’ll do some kind of face pull prior with a rope on the cable or using my ressitance band. I then do band pull aparts at all angles pulling apart using the shoulders, not the arms! All done to lube and fire up the shoulders.
I have no injuries or niggles or tendonitis of any kind!
Everything is geared towards recovery for me now im this age. Im following a strict pre, intra and post nutrtion routine so as to fuel and recover from the sessions. Supplemnts are also aimed at the recovery and keeping healthy and anti inflamitorys, curcumin, mixed oil blend, boswellia, ashgwagandha, zinc, vitD3, magnesium, ACV, black pepper heavily used to season foods, hymalayan pink salt, shed load of water.
    Hope ths helps.
    Im a natty lifter.

    @Acer
Ive just ordered the same product, usually have Doctors Best off Bodykind, but chose these due to budget.
I looked into Best Naturals and the general concensus is that a high % of their products come up trumps in content testing.
