Feeling much more myself now
Lesson learnt – the giants needs fooooood
I do know this obviously but at times as athletes and individuals we want to give it our all and quite simply our all is sometimes too much
It’s the old saying that trying to hard can work against you and for me this prep slashing food and going balls deep ruined my look
I actually went from 305 post holiday to 290 in under 3 weeks
At 305 I could still see lines in my ass and at 290 just a soggy mess
Anyway as I said lesson learnt, patience is key, listening to the body, managing fatigue and FOOD!!!!

TIA
I would say 2 per session typically 1 cluster and 1 rest pause or drop set ??

Ansomone used to be good. Very hard to suggest which is best right now, hgh is always a gamble in my eyes

MemberAugust 14, 2021 at 11:31 pm in reply to: Private: Giant’s Quest for 2021 Olympia QualificationSaturday session at Rotherham went down nicely
Still feeling very flat and have a soft appearance
Lesson learnt on this occasion
Patience will always be a bodybuilders nest friend but more often than not we just push that little too hard, too quickly
I came back into prep 10 weeks out, body came to life after a week and since then just looks tired and deflated, why?
My calories are too low, I set them up and ran them by Jordan but they were very near where we finished off last prep as I just wanted to be in shape now
It doesn’t happen like that guys
It’s a process and we need to feed the body what it needs to perform and respond
This weekend I’ll take in some more food and touch base with Jordan when he’s back from spain as his focus needs to be Corinne right now
Just me honest thoughts guys ??

MemberAugust 13, 2021 at 5:44 pm in reply to: Private: Giant’s Quest for 2021 Olympia QualificationHey guys yesterday was instructed by Jordan to feed back up.
It’s been a week where I’ve been pushing hard.
I knew as soon at 8 weeks out but I’d flick a switch and everything would be perfect but if anything food has been too low at baseline and it saw me drop from 298 Monday am to 290 Thursday am.
Yesterday I put in 850g carbs from clean sources so me and Jordan can fully track these loads and this am I’m 2lb up.
Just hit a crazy leg session so will likely be 290 again in the am and see what the boss man says.

No buddy I just track macros so chicken is protein, oats are carbs etc
That’s how I program my clients too
If your are consistent with your plan and food sources you won’t need to track micros plus when it comes to something like protein you want a certain amount of grams of fully bio available protein so you don’t want to be making up your targets from the scarps from
Oats and bagels for an exampleOnly thing I track 2 macros in is whole eggs, salmon, red meat and dark choc

As Adam said very specific to diet, goal and body fat levels
In terms of cycles I’ve used primo and mast in prep so I’ve had to use zero ai to combat estrogen
Vitamin C and high water intake are best ways to combat water retention naturally
I have 3000mg vit C and 6ltr water minimum year round ??

Nope definitely not buddy – I’m not productive in bed. Reproductive maybe hahaBut 6 hours and I’m good to go!
5-10am I get most of my days work done tbh
-
I always take split dose as half life is 8-10 hours I believe

Soreness shouldn’t prevent you from training again. As Clare said if you can perform and beat your book you are good to go within reason.
If you are super sore where it hurts to sit and stand then you need more time but typically after 2-3 days you will be good to go.
