Tuesday I hit PULL by myself –

    Session was as follows:
Hammer strength machine row target upper back thickness – one set 6-10 one back off with rest pause and iso hold

RDL snatch grip – index finger outside the rings which will make the movement harder and load the back even more One set 6-8 one set 10-12

Hammer strength pull over one set 8-10 one set back off with rp and iso hold

Machine that emulates a DB row plate loaded

1 set target 15 reps with 2 rest pause max reps each arm – 1 set

Opted for Smith shrug next instead of a rear delts exercise – keep form tight by locking knees which negates any leg drive
One set 10 one set 15

    Bicep preacher machine

1 set max for 10-15 the 2 rest pause finish with iso

    Job done

Did 2 sets hanging leg raises and weighted cable crunch to finish 15 reps each

Oh and calves I took this from a Milos training camp 3 years back….

Stop clock at ready 1 x 3 minute set no stopping followed by 1 min weighted stretch! This is fucking rediculous! I’m trying to train calves 4 times per week. Target is still on progressive overload in the main with crazy shot like this thrown in ????

Kevin, I’m loving the new set up and training with @kuba1000hotmail-co-uk-cielen means we are hitting every session with perfect form and max intensity! We can’t do anything but progress I’m certain off that!

Sessions are very taxing though and all aspects of recovery are in plan:

    Sports massage
    Baths
Quality sleep, using supp needs sleep stack and @jordan-peters sleep stack for this every night
Choosing the perfect split as mentioned in a post above which allows for adequate rest – imo too many people don’t rest enough, I physically can’t do 3 days in a row anymore – too taxing on this set up on body and CNS

    Rest is best ????????

At present I’m using Dymatize Iso 100
In the off season I just like plain old chocolate, plenty of flavours for prep head tho ????????

I personally never take anything other than water, black coffee and any fat burners depending on stage of off season/prep.
Results on fat burning will be much better fasted with lower blood sugar!

Hey guys quick update from me.

Had the weekend away in Oxford with the wife for our anniversary, we had a lovely time despite me falling down a rather large hill – too funny!!

It meant I had the weekend off training and was back with push yesterday, pull today and legs Thursday with Kuba coming up!

    Push went like this:
    Incline smith
    6-8
10-12 with rest pause and iso hold on stretch
    Flat DB
    6-8
    10-12 with iso
    Shoulder press machine
    6-8
10-12 with rest pause plus iso
    Weighted dips
    6-8
    10-15
    Laying cuffed laterals
15 plus rest pause plus partials and iso
    Pec dec
15 reps with 5 second hold on each stretch
Dead stop skull on the floor
    6-8
    10-15 with iso stretch

Great workout did 2 sets of weighted crunches superset with hanging leg raise to finish.

Today is RDL which I am super excited for and anxious that the back holds up. The lower back is going to be a long term fix for sure and likely something I’ll have for the rest of my life a managing this whilst safely progressing is going to be key to building the thickness I need!

Have a try of the workout and let me know what you think 🙂

Oh and enjoy the leg video – that was a disgusting session but absolutely loved it !!!

Mike definitely an advocate of leaving more time pre session for digestion, for me 1.5-2 hours then I have my PrePare pre workout drink 30 mins pre session.

Take my insulin and start sipping intra drink 15 mins prior to session.

Ellis, i’m doing the same split as Kuba as I fully agree a rest day is needed either side of legs, the physical and neural fatigue definitely warrants a rest either side.

    Split is

    PUSH
    PULL
    OFF
    LEGS
    OFF
    REPEAT

    Quick Friday update

Great week training, amazing in fact!!

Trained legs with Jordan and Kuba Monday which smashed me, rest day Tuesday, Push Wednesday and Pull yesterday with Kuba and Jimmy, Kuba’s client.

It will be a rest today and this weekend as I’m away for my anniversary but I’m very happy with how everything is going. My attitude towards training intensity and the accuracy of intent with in each rep is on another level.

I know I can only grow from here 🙂

My next log will be on high volume vs low volume training approach, my thoughts and views….stay tuned!

Luke you can feel when BG is low, especially when you can’t think straight and you start sweating – hypo pass me the carbs now lol

In general hunger feeling after 2+ hours post meal, sometimes light headed but ranges per individual. I know my own body well enough to know where abouts i’ll be in terms of BG pretty accurately.

And Mike here are rest day vs training day at present –

    Training day 5700kcal
    P400
    C670
    F110

    Rest day 3200kcal
    P370
    C130
    F140

I try and rest as much as possible on these days to allow for the best possible recovery. First 5 meals are protein and fats only with meal 6 being an off plan meal with protein, carbs and fats – this can range from steak and chips, burger chips or a pizza.

Hey Mike, think of it logically, stomach acids are always present but diluted by fluids and then regenerate to a certain level. If we limit fluids around meal times stomach acids will most certainly be more concentrated and allow for better more efficient digestion. Definitely drink more in between meals to assist all the bodies processes.

Hey Kevin, this is scaled down from what I was on before – prior to this I was running 1g test and 450 tren ace per week during a mini recomp phase.

This will be scaled up now over the next 10 weeks then I will likely cruise on 500mg test whilst we check health is in order.

I am letting Jordan direct and controlling the increases just now, food will obviously go up. I suspect we will increase food first, see if appetite holds and then increase dosages of cycle.

I’ll document everything as it happens anyway buddy 😉
