I’d cut carbs from meal one, protein and fats meal 1, let your body wake up before throwing carbs at it, better for blood sugar also.

Don’t drink fluids with meals – 15mins either side only.

And protein bar out as other say.

Hope it helps if only a little bit buddy ????????

Jamie thankyou for the input….this us also something I tried previously but to no avail. also I re introduced carbs simply because being a smaller guy my protein hits a way smaller than someone your size and I just felt my meal was too small…not satiating at all….maybe I should just suck it up and drop the carbs from meal 1 again.[/quote]
Yes I would personally and increase protein to 40-50g in meal 1. Don’t over concern yourself with over consuming protein on this scale. It will pose more benefit than draw back.
Depending on length of time you’ve been training and body composition plus use of PEDS or not your body will have adapted and require more protein than the text books state anyway.

Another successful rest day in the books. Can’t stress the importance of rest when your lifting in this format. I doubt many people can train 3 days in a row unless you have super human recovery.

That being said me and Kuba agreed yesterday to hit our cruise period 3 weeks early as we both feel like our bodies are at that point where performance and recovery are slightly down. We’re still progressing but it’s more forced than we know it should be. That coupled with lower libido and feeling restless we’re listening to the warning signs that pushing another few weeks would be counter productive!

So cruise, clear out, blood checks, recharge and one hell of a monster push for 325lb by the end of the year ????????

Do you implement any insulin to help process the amount of food you have to consume in the off season? I can imagine you run into some insulin sensitivity issues and possibly meals compounding with the amount of carbs

I actually checked fasted blood glucose this am and this is where it’s at. Perfect position really considering gh use also.
I use 10iu with Pre and post meal at the minute that’s all.

My advice would be determined by other factors such as supplement usage and if using anabolics.

Training in the morning is fine but I’ve seen no proof of it actually working better to recruit more muscle.

I would go on a basis of performance! Track lifts on an empty stomach against training on 3-4 meals and compare the results.

If you perform better on food I would go with that on the basis that your going to put more
Overall stress on the muscle, be less likely of using muscle tissue for energy and progress all round, quicker.

If you have digestive issues then there is some benefit of the fast. The occasional clear out is always good.

I’m sure you know which foods sit well with your body and utilise supplements to assist your condition ????????

On rest days opt for fats over carbs. Give your pancreas a rest and manage insulin sensitivity ????????
