You can always put it forward to the big boss Jordan, i’m sure it will make a great video. I have seen Zack with a log book so we may be able to sway him to our style of training just for a session šŸ™‚

It would make an epic video, absolute legend.

We now have Owen Powell in da house at Ultra and many great athletes making the trip weekly. It’s fast becoming the place to train in the uk. Kuba had a guy travel all the way from Belgium to train with us the other day!!

Have you seen a doctor? Sometimes itā€™s possible to tweak a muscle but Iā€™ve never had this for more than a day or so.
You need to get checked over, it may be nothing but a professional needs to advise you here without being able to perform a physical exam thereā€™s not much we can do I donā€™t believe.

Had a great pull session today at ultraflex Rotherham.

Weā€™ve taken RDLā€™s out of one of our pull sessions so now lower back will be loaded once every 10 days aside from legs.

This is just whilst we cruise and as weā€™re feeling quite beat up.

Recovery should be able to handle that I reckon. Letā€™s see how things go.

    Todayā€™s pull session was:

    Cybex chest supported row
Prime incline chest supported plate load row
    Atlantis upper back row
    Underhand pull down
    Seated cable underhand row
    Shrug
    Prime plate load bicep preacher
    Atlantis seared calf

All sets one working 5-9 one back off 12-15 ????????

Donā€™t speak to me about calves ????????ā€ā™‚ļø????

Probably THE most genetically determined body part there is but in my experience just hitting them in a variety of different ways often as possible is the way.

Never let them get used to one type of stimulus.

  • Imo opinion Iā€™m view it from a blood sugar angle!
If blood sugar is stable and your waking around 80-100 US units between 4 + 5 UK then your likely to burn more fat performing it fasted ā€˜generallyā€™ speaking.
If blood sugar is lower than the body will utilise fat for fuel much quicker. If you have an intra carb drink itā€™s very likely BG will be 100 plus post workout meaning excess carbs need to be burnt as fuel before fat.

From a fitness aspect it doesnā€™t matter but from a fat burning aspect I like all my clients performing fasted if they can.

If there schedule doesnā€™t allow I typically prescribe a more intensive form of cardio like HIIIT POST weights.

So far zero pip from the DHB which is great ????
Jabbed this am with 1ml dhb and 1ml test 250.

Iā€™ll drop 150mg test in an injection Thursday/Friday with another ml dhb followed up by a final ml of dhb Sunday then move to this.

    Monday 200mg test 100mg dhb
    Wednesday 100mg dhb
    Friday same as Monday

Today I trained Push with Drew Walker at his new gym, had a great session. Didnā€™t log it as it was completely different machines and set up to normal but we just had fun and lifted heavy ass weights. Properly haha

Feeling a little beat up at the minute so a deload week is on the horizon or a change I volume/split which maybe 1 on 1 off style set up but like always Iā€™ll keep you guys updated 100 ????????

I would do what Oscar said and have a tracked refeed around training with some nutritional value that supports performance and recovery.
Cheat meals will only cause problems physically and mentally.
On your macros I would rather increase output before further decreasing input.

Ensure NEAT doesnā€™t drop and training intensity doesnā€™t decline.

the DHB PIP 100 percent sucks. It goes well beyond conventional PIP. Literally swelled my glute up to twice its normal size (THIS IS NOT AN EXAGGERATION), pants barely fit, couldn’t put socks/shoes on without disgusting pain levels. I’ve tried to make it work like 5 different times, but always the same thing. I’m done with it!

Thanks for the heads up Iā€™ll get back to you tomorrow lol

This is the best log on this site imo! James how long do you plan to cruise for ? As someone said above 700mg cruise sounds insane to me. I wonder if you have to cruise longer just to get bloods back in line . Also do you keep good bloods for while before blasting or you jump right back in once they look decent ?

This is a little new to me tbh normally Iā€™d run 4-500mg test only and check bloods but we will see. I have every health supp at my disposal and know how to look after my body so letā€™s see what the results say in 4 weeks and go from there.
Thanks for the kind words šŸ™‚

Just to chime in regarding 300mg of primo. Of course it does something as it’s 300mg more than using nothing. I think we often hear people saying you need to use high dosages of eq or primo for them to do anything and it really isn’t true!

Definitely Stephen, the ultimate goal for us all should be to get the most out of the least amounts ????????

    2 questions:

Does the 300 primo actually do anything? I thought primo makes sense when you go 700+ a week.

Do your bloods recover propperly on 700mg of gear weekly? Cause I know mine would go to shit.

Yes it does something, higher doses will do more obviously but at a point to many drugs become counter productive to appetite.
Since joining the team this has been somewhat of a maintainence cycle as my appetite was shot before hand.
The main focus for the last ten weeks has been ensuring my eating is bang on with zero appetite issues and supporting a high level of performance and recovery.
Next blast you will see me push things more and Iā€™ll check blood work in 4 weeks ????????

I will say first and foremost you need full faith and trust in your coach. Donā€™t be one of those people that asks 20 people in the gym for advice as well as the guy your calling your coach. Your first experience competing is nerve racking weā€™ve all been there but having ultimate faith and adhering to one persons instructions is the only way you will be your best come show day and know you did everything you weā€™re told.
Good look man. Condition looks good for 6 out ????????

A perfect slow digesting protein source nicely fitted through the day but perfect for the last meal before bed.

Legs went off at Ultra Flex Rotherham today with Kuba and Jimmy!!

Amazing session!! I still progressed on all lifts but volume was brought down a tad on some exercises and we skipped out 1 exercise completely.

As stated on a previous log post we have now entered a cruise phase where we will closely monitor recovery and performance and be very instinctive session to session towards volume based on feel and recovery.

There is no backing down from sessions, not one inch off the pedal in working sets, the aim is to stay strong and hold body weight but overall volume may drop to support recovery from less gear.

    Cruise cycle will be
    400mg test
300mg dhb which Iā€™m really looking forward to trying ????
