    I would do UL as per below…’density day’ is just a leg day with more focus on hammies by adding in a pull which I would place in the Monday session
    for example….

    Monday – lower – pull variation here
    rest
    Wednesday – upper – more chest focus here
    rest
    Friday – lower – squat variation here
    Saturday – upper – more shoulder and delt focus here

    2 rotations would be good, week 1 and week 2
    I use a 4 day set plan very frequently actually in this exact set up….I love it! I have found it to be my strongest training method

    you wont put on fat if your energy balance and diet is accurate

    sam – well jokes on the student loan department really….I think we propose that they deduct 1pence for every paragraph you bestow on the world…you will be debt free (and in profit) instantly! haha ill try and help figure the beanbag toy!
    I think fudge has a reasonably long shelf life? its only 9k kcals anyway so that’s like 2 and half training days for you? waste not want not!
    in light of the missing maltesers…which dud you reluctantly select?
    I actually did buy Jordan some socks this year! theres a lot you don’t know about that young man lol

    Kelly – my dad is only really capable of ‘making’ food by way of a takeaway phone call….haha oo actually, he can make a good angel delight….or packet custard!

    Jordan – thank you for the compliments….its was an eventful session haha – fingers crossed tomorrow is a little less so 😉

    is the left lat actually stronger than the right one?
    or is it just a visual thing?
    what are your exercise choices? what is your training plan?

    also what is your occupation? do you maybe use one side more than the other?

    could just be a tightness – in which case a chiro or some tissue work could ‘open you up’ so to speak and therefore they will then look symmetrical

    for me an intra would be the best option here but if that doesn’t sit well for you…I would have whey and maybe a banana or something straight away and then my post workout meal 45-60mins after that

    I would also ensure my pre gym meal was a good size to ensure I was sustained throughout the session 🙂

    HR is elevated post training anyway, and will be for a period of time…so I would also move this passive cardio to morning or before bed…BUT again If you enjoy it and like to do it, that’s no issue 🙂

    what about something like the below…here are some foods and rough prices from a generic super market

    15 eggs = £1.20
    500g bag of pasta = 29p
    500g turkey breast = £4
    750g 15% fat beef = £3.70
    1kg frozen mixed veg = £1.10
    1kg oats = 75p
    350g cereal = £1
    500g frozen fish = £2.18
    300g low fat cottage cheese = 64p
    1 banana = 15p
    6 pint milk = £1.50
    125g cashews = 75p

    meal 1 – eggs, milk, veg
    meal 2 – beef/turkey/fish, portion of pasta, veg
    pre gym – oats and egg whites,
    intra – EAAS with maltodextrin – would last a long time and nice and cheap
    pwo – cereal, banana, whey – get a cheap concentrate whey, bulk stores do decent quality ones that again will last a long time – OR have protein from turkey/fish or egg whites here too
    meal – beef/turkey/fish, portion of pasta, veg
    before bed – cottage cheese or milk, and cashews

    OBVIOUSLY kcals etc would depend on you and your needs this is literally just an example of what I would personally use 🙂

    and no idea…he probably wont – he has done a lot of podcasts now, so think kuba and Jamie are keen to get some novel voices on 🙂

    Pull session today – VERY GOOD 🙂

    Deficit SLDL – 170kg x 6
    Pulldown – 2 sets, both up…good connection, felt strong
    T bar row – 101.25kg x 8…crept the weight as I know i struggle with this movement
    Upper back row – 2 sets, both up
    Single arm lat row – 2 sets both up in weight and reps
    BB shrug – 2 sets…again I like to keep this movement lighter with very accurate form and for 10 plus reps…you see people adding like 100000000kg onto the bar and just fluffing about! I think that’s silly
    Rear delt on the cable – 2 sets, both up
    prime bicep curl – 3 sets, all ups, getting stronger on biceps, which is NEEEEDED as my arms are a weakness
    seated DC calf – 1 set

    rest day tomorrow..buuuut have a bit of ARGHHH day, MOT booked for the morning….so either have to hang about or get a taxi home….then back into town for treatment, Jordan then me….then collect the car at some stage?! and also try to do the usual stuff like dog walks, food shop, cooking, work etc..but ill just go with the flow on that one!

    how long is your training session?
    what meal do you eat before this ? and how long before?

    cardio in my opinion shouldn’t be done post workout – this is time to protect tissue, recovery and feed your body – not switch to a less anabolic pathway by adding cardio

    could this be done at a different time?
