with me I don’t cheat/binge/overeat post show
I dont have that week where i just eat everything in sight like a lot of people who and gain about 5kgsI prefer structure – the large surplus is literally, as you note, to get bodyweight up and energy back into a good position to protect and move forward.
fat will go on – I will be pushing up about 25lbs from stage weight…so I have learnt there is no merit in sitting lean if its inevitable anyway…much better to have the weight on asap so training can be strong from the off with no moments wasted.
at this stage also, food is my anabolic tool
the body will have a massive adaptive response to food if it is thrown in high right away – that’s if you have actually gotten truly in condition of course – so its a necessary thing in my view to increase calorie intake.
body will stabilise, reach equilibrium, then normal dietary set up will resume to largely maintain – I don’t need to be in a huge surplus just a moderate one to keep ticking up.
resting isn’t always what people do post show…but I need and like to, both physically and mentally = I was a little over trained too so my body really needed to get out the gym haha

OFF SEASON – DAY 3
same diet – no trainingappetite is great – which is very normal when food gets re added
I don’t know how long I will be eating this much before I come back to a normal diet…? im just waiting on jordans call for that…if this was me I would already be eating a lot less as I can never rationalise this in my ever-so skewed mind when it comes to my own body lolnice and sunny today which is lovely
cant really make the most of my rest as obviously day trips are off the cards – plus im just helping Jordan as he trains anyway – usual plate fairy, belt tightener, elbow sleeve puller, spotter kinda business…again I don’t mind this as I want to help but it is nice to NOT be in a training environment sometimes to give me head space – unlike some others, I really do need that post show to refreshstill no baby
lets no forget….9 months til Christmas also haha

I think its applicable
being strong is surely advantageous In all sports?of course…managing your schedule and recovery COULD pose a challenge but it would depend on your training commitments and then how you periodised the weight training into that

OFF SEASON – DAY 2
rest again today and the same diet – 5 by 40p, 100c …additionally 12f in meal 1 and 21f in pre bed.obviously we all got more updated from the government last night – tightening up a lot to say the least….funny how I know feel on edge leaving the house to walk the pups, like im doing something wrong! of course, im not…but its a very weird feeling to have all out freedom taken away a little.
im going to miss my mum a lot – we said we will have go to the shop at the same time so we can at least say hi from a distance! equally….when my sister has her baby (which is now 3 days over due) I wont be able to meet him or her…that makes me so so saddened…and I know my sister is also upset by that 🙁
BUT we can either sulk and feel sorry for ourselves OR we can acknowledge our feelings, accept them, find solutions and look forward to the future….

I have a low thyroid
so using 100 mg T4 per day and 37.5 mg T3 per day puts my level in the normal range
less than that I fall below
amazingly I didn’t alter this all prep! no AIs were used either

OFF SEASON – OFFICIAL DAY 1
31 weeks, 5 dayskinda feels like day 4 anyway ….seen as I had 2 high days….then yesterday…BUT lets kinda draw a line and say today is the day waking up post show
so today and for the foreseeable diet is to be….5 meals of 40p, 100c, maintaining fats which are only 12g in meal 1 and 12g pre bed as left from the diet.
I will expand on meals as I go…this is how I do POST SHOW EATING haha…trying to make an exciting post about the unexciting
so im not in a hotel nor can be go out…so I would usually have hotel breakfast, which would be bits and bob of things I like so beans on toast, cereal, fruit, Nutella on something that kinda thing
today – usual eggs cucumber and sauerkraut, then baby rice honey blueberries banana – 100c worth, blob of nut butter for my fats
decaf cafeteria coffeethat’s meal 1 so far 🙂

and now I will pretend im all ok and continue on….so I trained today as I was eating pre workout when we found out the definitive decision – but I did legs instead of delts&arms – ill be back to PPL now so made sense, as im going to have the week off training and they were last hit on Monday. plus Jordan was training legs today.

seated ham – 2 sets
adductor – 2 sets
dead stop pendulum – 2 sets – REAL NICE TO DO THIS DEAD STOP…HORRIBLE, A2G
HS leg press – 2 sets
glute drive – 2 sets

absJordan insisted I got some sushi this evening for meal after pwo, so just finishing that now – I find this hard as we know
but its time to get very strong and grow again, need to get myself out of the danger zone of losing muscle, and if I under eat now I will not step forward.I finished up at 152lbs ready…aim is to compete again in 32 weeks – cali then Romania…of course we will have to see what happens in 2020 but that is the timeframe im structuring to now
would be very cool if I can get another few lbs on…maybe 155lbs ready?
6 weeks downtime now – then 6 week push – 6 weeks downtime again – 14 week prep….using the first month to recomp – 10 weeks to deficit.

morning every one
i dont know the specifics of who how what when why
it would be within the current rules of social gatherings – so only 1 class a time at the venue, no tanning – all self application etc
they wouldn’t put on a show that broke any legislation and would defo limit risk as we do in all normal areas….ie the supermarket etcits not an ideal end to the best prep ive ever had, lets put it that way haha
so I will await clarificationvery grateful we have access to our own kit – so training for me wont be affected
UPDATE
Friday – pull – 525c total
yesterday was rest and we ran 750c
5 meals of 150 – usual foods just more of them.
156.6lbs this morning
today delt and arms and tomorrow legs…so that fuel will see me have 2 really good sessions I hope
last session will be chest&back not to failure on Wednesday
then load thurs, fri – compete Saturday – PENDINGif at any point things change its cancelled – I will rest from training and start the next phase 🙂

can you explain where and how you currently train them within your plan?

so – Friday was eventful but not for the reasons we would all like…hope everyone is okno baby

no comp – not officially announced yet, but I don’t see how…I guess depends on the location change as to my knowledge – CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG – events under a certain number are STILL allowed?im defo feeling lost – I would like to know exactly and indefinitely where I stand so I can re focus

hey all
Friday 20th march – 8 days out….probably maybe
I really want my new niece or nephew to be born today….only because my birthday is 20th November, mums is 20th july….so if they arrived today we would all be 4 months apart! which I like haha – the due date is tomorrow….march has become a total waiting game it seems haha
anyway – feeling decent
not guna lie…I am tired now, in terms of body needing a rest from training and I think the ups and downs of on off etc has made me a little mentally tired this week toonot complaining….we are all in the same boat and it seems my comp has landed at a rather awkward time! 🙂
