    what is the current goal? are you doing the walk just for fitness / passive activity or are you intending it to be for fat loss (doesn’t seem so from what you written)

    youre eating meal 1 – which contains protein – about 45mins from waking? so i don’t personally deem it necessary to add anything before the walk

    rest day today – and HAPPY EASTER! and if you don’t celebrate Easter, then just happy sunny sunday 🙂
    such a gorgeous day again

    so my new thing is forget me not flowers…my o my, they are just so beautiful – im going to buy some seeds and plant them along my wall and hope they grow all over it!

    tulips too – i didn’t know they came in SO many colours
    i really am going to do a gardening class or something when i can as i would love to know more about it all

    usual rest day stuff for me today – i wont pretend, i am missing my family now, i really just want to see them and have a nice easter dinner together or something like we usually would and help Eloise on her egg hunt. BUT ive had videos of her doing it…so that’s kinda ok 🙂

    a few suggestions from me below…i would actually do this as an upper lower split at 2 on 1 off or EOD to avoid volume becoming too high

    Paused bb squat – 2 sets to failure
    walking lunge with DB or BB – 1 set
    RDL BB + Band : 1 x 15-20 / 1 x 12-15
    GHR eccentrics – on the floor, hook your heels and lower to the ground, then push yourself up and go again – maybe a rest pause here
    straight arm pulldown or DB pullover – 1 set
    BB banded row : 1 x 15-20 / 1 x 12-15
    Single Arm Banded Lat Pull Down : 1 x 30 sec squeeze + max reps / 1 x failure
    DeadStop narrow BB Floor Press : 1 x 15-20 / 1 x 12-15
    Standing BB Shoulders Press : 1 x 15-20 / 1 x 12-15
    wide press up for chest – rest pause
    single arm banded side raise
    face pulls with band for rear delts
    Single Arm DB Curl : 1 x 15-20

    do you just have 1 variation?

    OFF SEASON – DAY 20

    legs – everything progressed VERY well
    3 weeks into this down phase now, just 3 more to go to hold it all
    then its game time!!

    decision is NOT to increase food….reasons….
    at 3 weeks now, anything that i had in the system will be out
    performance is VERY good
    if we can hold out til the end of this then we have both tools to play with
    I will start the push up LEANEST, STRONGEST, and on MOST FOOD of any start point
    recipe for a lot of strength = hi new muscle!!

    so happy that the session went smoothly for jordan…was actually fantastic, he did baseline volume and PBed everything, no pain
    I was so worried that he had really hurt himself 2 days ago…cant believe his back crunched! I was standing about 4 meters away and I HEARD it! his back is made of steel….never ever has there been even a hint of injury risk…it legit crossed my mind that that was the end of the journey…and when that happened my heart feel out my butt 🙁

    jordan to me is everything…he is my life partner, my gym partner, my business partner, my motivator, my best friend…he is my responsibility and I do and will devote everything I have to him…so when the thing he loves and wants more than anything feels like its gone…that hurts a lot
    I would give this up,if that’s what was needed to make sure he succeeded and he knows that!

    anyway, mega SIDE BAR moment – sorry for that!

    @char_baby – well we didn’t really watch them…we merely judged them on the opening scenes haha but I would say likely not heard of them….as they are not (in my opinion) very worthy of note haha

    I doooo I forgot about that one….do you think it would be just as good to watch at home? or does it need a cinema?
    your home experience sounds wonderful! I so do not have the patience for that haha

    usual stuff – food shop, dog walk, cleaning, work, called my mum and dad, had a chat/bitch/gossip..as you do

    NEW STUFF I DID TODAY….washed the dogs haha which they actually loved! I was surprised

    and tomorrow is legssssssssssss !

    pull 1 today
    I tried the new jpre stim – 11g – 1 serving
    I didn’t find it super strong, I was a little worried as I have had a stim for YEARSSSS but actually just felt very good

    snatch SLDLS…so dam hard but progressed nicely – 142.5kg x 9…132.5kg x 10
    whole session felt perfect
    PBS on all 🙂

    busy check in day today – so you have been spared too much terrible chat from me haha
    ill be back…don’t you worry! 🙂

    as clare mentions….its a case of managing, not curing so to speak

    are you on top of your joint health? if youre maybe taking nothing at all this will be a very big intervention

    I would avoid anything that caused ANY irritation, as this will cause continual re-flaring of the issue. So even carrying a shopping bag or shaking hands – i would do this with the other hand

    OFF SEASON – DAY 17

    push 1 today
    everything up EXCEPT the very first press….was up 0.5kg a side on the HS press BUT down 1 rep
    I think maybe I just wasn’t 100% ready…not sure – but literally all else was great

    home cinema….the film was on for 15 mins until Jordan decided he didn’t like it….we then tried ‘eighth grade’ – this was on for about 20mins until Jordan decided he didn’t like that one either haha
    so we then put on ‘All the money in the world’ which was approved….so we have watched about half and will finish that off at some point!

    I looked up ‘top films of 2019’ and the first 2 were listed and had v good reviews ….so why were they on the list?! lol
    I would have watched the first one a little longer, as I think it would have picked up….but once Jordan has decided, he has decided haha

    rest day today….after legs yesterday…I am grateful haha
    I LOVE a good walk in the sunshine, but this morning, my body didn’t even fancy that! 🙂

    anyway – nothing much to note today

    lots of work
    cleaning
    cooking
    eating

    we are going to have a cinema trip tonight! into the living room…haha – going t try ‘Sorry we missed you’ …anyone seen it?
    might even go get a Pepsi Max….pick n mix…popcorn…make it feel like a real cinema 🙂
