nick…a mix of any good quality fats…so oily fish, red meat, oils, avocado, eggs, nuts in moderation as these do contain carbs, also avoid dark chocolate…kcal wise its hard to say as I don’t no your diet, or any other info, but match your calories at first, so omit carbs and sub with the same calories from fats and see where that leaves u then alter as you go 🙂

I personally don’t carbohydrates cycle as such…year round I use a training day diet and non training day diet and the cars are higher on the training day as energy expenditure is higher and there is more demand for them
when trying to reduce body fat I would reduce/remove carbohydrates from rest days first…then I would switch meals to pro fat on training days keeping macros the same…then reduce calories later in the preptrainedbyjp@hotmail.co.uk |

glycerol can help with cell hydration… haven’t personally used it, you can get it from the pharmacy though…there is science to show its beneficial. Its nothing special in my opinion.

if youre pushed for time then add 20mins liss BEFORE training not after…it will serve as good warm up, burn some calories and is better then doing it post workout.i would do this fasted just drinking water then start your shake as you start weights 🙂

a wider grip pull up is best and if you don’t have a pullover machine then do DB pullovers 🙂

I don’t use a belt or wraps or sleeves until the load is at max…or very close to max and then it just becomes about joint health…you can get a lot from a belt or wraps…some of that is clearly psychological! im currently using wraps to squat (which I HATE) but as im lifting with the GPC this year Im allowed to wear them and potentially will get another 20kgs on my squat…not missing out on that for the sake of being stubborn haha
if youre injury prone then I would wear a belt…however if your back is the weak link in the progress of your dead for example then I would lower the weight, remove the belt and force your back to gain strength

I would add fats into post workout….protein only wouldn’t be sufficient calories for recovery and theres no point just have LOADS of protein as your body simply cant process it

as a rough guide for someone who is over average body fat I would use their total body weight…if an individual is heavily over weight then I would reduce this number…most people i work with don’t know their lean body mass weight, so its more a case of working out the appropriate intake based on age, gender, etc aswell
