I live there now but actually moving next week. Unfortunately we don’t have a lot, in Andover itself you have the leisure centre where I train and has a good strength room tbh. there is the commercial snap fitness, another one called caffreys gym which seems to be weightlifting but I’ve never trained there myself.
tbh there isn’t a lot around, Newbury have a few but depends how far you want to travel?

Maryland cookies- yes!6 cups of tea a day haha…trade for black coffee these days and do you even dunk anything into coffee?! I’ve never done that and don’t know any that would work come to think of it.

Where do Tim Tams, Chocolate digestives and jaffa Cakes fit in then? They always go in the bicky tin/tupperware, can come individually wrapped (in aus).
Oh and another one just to stir the pot, Wagon Wheels? Where the hell do they belong? haha

another biscuit one…best for dunking? worst is rich tea. Those are a goner within a couple of seconds. digestive or good old cookie for me.

I’m pretty sure Tim tams are classed as a biscuit soooo therefore penguins are a biscuit.

club bars…my god these were amazing!But Corinne, it was mentioned on the live Insta that a viscount (sp?) is your fave biscuit, could this be like any of the above though? chocolate biscuit thing haha.
BUT I suppose what you’ve said about round is true as they are included in biscuit tins. Damn this is a good topic!

@char_baby – LOVEDDDDDDDD our session…that sounds sarcastic haha but im being serious, was great to see you train, tweak a few bits etc youre super responsive and on board with your body so I know just saying a matter of words and reminders has the power to change a lot in your physique

this legit made my day. You know when you were at school and got the end of year report from all your teachers, hoping your favourite one was happy with you?
It’s like that haha. My back still has doms and I can’t even tell you what that session did for me mentally to know what I’m capable of and what can come of all of this and physically for tweaking a few things for maximum benefits.
Gonna have to get a few more sessions in the bag I think!rest day is certainly welcomed today.
Toronto and Nebraska plans sound very exciting tho. I get the anxiety part too tho!

great pull session today though with Corinne! after a very long rest week for me, today’s first session back couldn’t of gone better. New knowledge to use when I train back and the fire is still burning strong for that much improved back next time I get on the stage!
Training with someone who trains with such intention to actually BUILD muscle is a huge difference. Rather than lugging weight around and losing form like we see too often! training with intent and intensity- it’s the best to see. awesome day and hopefully first of many ???? thank you again @corinne

Good news on the video front!
yeah defo true in terms of the factors that can affect it. I’m thinking its going to come back at some point in Jan, I’m taking a longer off season this time too so gives my body longer to grow and recover.
This year is the first time I’ve ever done a reverse diet thanks to Corinne. Before that with previous coach it was very much let’s give you all the food, no reverse diet and then watch my body blow up very quickly! So this time has been much much better. Weight and bodyfat has been going on much slower this time which is nice.
Just the usual basic daily supps for me such as multi vit, omega 3, evening primrose oil, curcumin, digestive enzyme, probiotic, vitamin c and that’s it I think. ‘var never changed that either as they had gone before I was on that. Anything you recommend?
I need to get bloods done soon really but money wise is a tad tight just after Christmas lol.

Throughout your years of competing, how do you find prep affects your monthly cycle?
mine literally disappear and just don’t come back.
with my previous coach they disappeared altogether, blood tests etc came back as fine though. Then when I joined with Corinne back in October last year they came back briefly, started prep in Jan and they finished in Feb and since the finals and being off season since October have yet to make an appearance. “Aunt Flow” for me has literally left the building. she gone!
